The Red Sox are the masters of their destiney this weekend. They need to sweep Tampa Bay. They could come out ahead by two games.
Bay is hot and makes it look so easy to win.

As known throughout the U.S., horse's a-ss Socks fans are as goofy and naive as they are delusional. Just flat out dumb.

Police arrested a Boston Red Sox fan Friday on charges he assaulted a Tampa Bay Rays fan after a May 2 baseball game. Joseph Michael Norton, 30, of Tampa and John Thaddeus Ritter, 19, exchanged words around 11 p.m. while walking down an outside ramp at Tropicana Field after the game, according to St. Petersburg police. Norton "sucker punched" Ritter in the back of the head, police said. Ritter fell, hit his head on the pavement and suffered a concussion, police said. Norton was charged with aggravated battery. He remained in jail Friday with a bond set at $75,000.

Hmm. Projecting the asinine behavior of one person onto an entire group of people? Sounds like a pretty "naive" thing to do. As the poster before me pointed out, lest we forget that Yankees fan who tore her car into a bunch of Red Sox fans, killing one of them. There are chuckleheads who root for every team, and, of course, there are trolls who do too. You have proven that statement right on both accounts.
By the way, you spelled some things wrong. It's "Sox", not "Socks". And there's no hyphen between the "a" and the "ss". It's also "chowder", not "chowdah". Just figured I'd let you know, didn't know if you noticed those errors. It's OK, it's easy to make typos sometimes, no one's perfect.

That's odd and also funny. I never mentioned what team I was a fan of but your obvious obsession of the Yankees is clear as a bell.
I'll bet if Peter Gammons snapped his fingers you'd smell his farts.

Hmm, then it sure seems "clear as a bell" that you're obsessed with the Red Sox yourself, by your own criteria -- you're not a fan of the Red Sox, and yet you come on here as a troll just to lob gratuitous insults at the Red Sox and their fans. I don't usually feed the trolls, but you're too easy. I enjoy watching people dig their own holes, and that's exactly what it appears you're good at. Please tell me at least you're a Rays fan.

Just a baseball fan but it's hilarious when Boston is on TV and seeing silly drunken fans singing Sweet Caroline and holding hands.
Very gay.

If you're not a Boston fan then why do you waste your time watching the games? Pretty pathetic that you don't have much of a life. "very gay" makes you sound so high school. Get a better line and grow up. Those are things ONLY a Yankee fan would say.

Gay? So... what's wrong with that? Oh, never mind, I see what you mean -- yes, they are indeed very happy when they sing "Sweet Caroline". So you are right, I suppose.
If you truly are "just a baseball fan" then you'd (a) be appreciative of the traditions and idiosyncrasies that are unique to any team (for example, the "bleacher creatures" in the Bronx, the "rally monkey" in Anaheim, the "sausage race" at Miller Park), and (b) be respectful of baseball fans in general. Don't pull the "these Red Sox fans are being disrespectful, so why should I be respectful?" line out either, because you could be (well, could have been) the "better man" and dispensed of all the ad-hominem attacks, all the airheaded, vacuous insults. A real "baseball fan" is like that -- appreciative of baseball traditions, and respectful to other baseball fans -- and you sure aren't painting a picture for anyone on here that you are anything CLOSE to one, thank you very much.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Aquarius

The atmosphere in the office is stressful. Learn to divide time in a planned and phased manner. Beware of starting a lot of new things but not having the time to finish any of them. Mental overload will burn your busy and chaotic schedules and health problems may crop up all of a sudden. If you party with friends this evening, don't make it too late.
