Great win for the O's, however they can't take too many more bad outings from Loewen, I say give Albers the spot

Let's hope this team can keep it going.

We need to get through this road trip with a winning record and then rip off a bunch at home

Get Loewen out of the rotation and back to triple A ball for some innings and confidence. Clearly he is not ready at this level (forearm soreness or no forearm soreness)! The grittiness and building confidence of the team is fun to watch- but how long will it last before the bubble pops?

The team appears to be responding to and taking on the characteristics of its leader. Great job Dave! You've given this team some poise.

He is out of options and can't go to the minors. The only way to help him is the DL and then a rehab stint. Maybe call up Olson.

Loewen is going on the DL and Albers will take his spot. I don't think there is much doubt of that. They'll go through the motions and have him see a doctor first to make it look good, but clearly Loewen is not ready to pitch at this level right now.

Again for some reason this ball club no matter how hard they try and no matter how many selections they get can't get lucky when picking a pitcher in the first round. Even the year when we had 6 picks out of the first 56 in the country we bomb out terribly. Only Brian roberts who was a sandwich pick made it to our club. The list goes on and on Beau Hale, maike Paradise, chris smith, ETC Etc and now you can had Lowen to that list. How can you be so wrong so many times. Now gettin back to the ball club, i think they are performing great so far this year and with a couple more plaayers here and there they will be very exciting for many years to come. Please get rid of that bust out walker who hasn't done anything for this club.He has given up 4 home runs for a guy whose only job is to get 1 batter out.$20,000,000 to get one batter out .

It's good to see Jones sticking it to his former team. I'm sure the Seattle blogs are filled this morning with fans crying about how we ripped them off in the trade. Go O's.

Um, who cares? The team is playing great right now, so enjoy it while it lasts. This year isn't about their overall record anyway.

Sucks about Loewen, but it's obvious he has no business being in the big league right now. I really like the guy, as I think he's got a TON of potential, and I hope his arm isn't shot. I think Albers has earned a shot at the rotation. Leave Olson, Penn, and Liz in the farm. We brought them up too early last year, and I don't want to make that mistake again.

Walker needs to stop serving up meatballs. I'm really getting tired of his blown saves. Get it together.

How great is it to see Jones and Sherrill come back to bury their old team, and love every second of it? Big night for Adam, and Sherrill is a bad A$$. I love these guys.

Hopefully BRob is breaking out of his slump because we need him to contribute at the plate.

On to four @ Chi-town...Go O's!

Let's hope Loewen is OK. Unfortunately he is a guy who must develop at the Major league level. Though everyone says he has loads of potential, he's only had sketchy success at the major league level. He still lacks command and walks way too many guys. He is probably a guy that needs to prove and learn to pitch as a long reliever and earn his way back to being a starter.

As for Walker, we are all tired of his lousy pitching, and self-depreciating talk. That act is getting tired. Just pitch and help the O's win.

The Bedard trade is looking better every day based on Sherril alone.

Rather than predict the O's bubble will burst, I would say that we still have room for improvement such as A. Jones and the young pitchers continued improvement and B.Rob getting hot.

Enjoy the minute rather than predict groom and doom, and bubbles bursting. This is a great time for the O's so appreciate it. The inevidable slumps will happen - that baseball.

GO O!!!!

they must be winning with mirrors ,and its not for the faint of heart but this has beena blast to watch this year.if only they had a sshortstop and some body to bat cleanup instead of millar ,who is great in the clubhouse but would not even crack anyother roster, but you never know.

As always Mr. Baseball is spot on. Jones continues to improve and M's fans must be wondering what could of been as they watch their savior Bedard sit on the DL.

I know Walker has been struggling as of late, and that the negativity is warranted, but last year he did his job and then some, and then some more...I know most of you won't, but he get some slack in my book. He'll figure out whatever is going on and get it fixed.

The orioles should bring in Mike Marshall who has developed techniques for pitchers to avoid arm stress and injury.

Unfortunately, unless there is an intervention for Adam, this isn't going to get better. Can you say Kerry Woods?

I encourage the Orioles to continue using profanity in their interviews with the Sun. I am going to enjoy seeing what euphamisms can be substituted. In fact, if Walker is credited with saying [damn], the actual language must be far more colorful.

even if we don't make it all the way this year, i'd still rather be in third. better than being everyone's running joke, like last year.
