I couldn't agree more with you. Omar has to make that trade. Lefty specialists are easy to find. I would send them Schoeneweis and kick some money in too.

Exactly! Feliciano is the holdup to this deal? Are they kidding with this?! All they have to do to replace Pedro is just sign Beimel, which I've been saying all along.

Omar doesn't like to trade ANY of his latin players. The only question is how long will it take for Street to learn the language??

Fire Omar!

The facts are that the MUTS lost 7 games entering teh 9th inning with the lead. Keep the lead in half of them and the World Champion Phillies don't even reach the playoffs.

I understand the perception of playing "hard to get." But the Street for Heilman and Feliciano deal is a no brainer: especially since Met fans would have traded those same two players after the last home game for a case of Gatorade!

OMAR-- Get it Done, our patience is wearing out!

Can you imagine Heilman at Coors field. The Rockies will have to put on a night shift at the ball factory to keep up with the demand. Remember crybaby Mike Hampton who was too good to pitch for NY. I remember he went to Colorado and the poor folks outside the stadium had to wear helmets with all the balls flying out-I loved it!
