Sox manager Ozzie Guillen sticks with struggling Jose Contreras

Full story: Chicago Tribune

ARLINGTON, Texas -- White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen falls in love when he sees Jose Contreras strike out All-Star Michael Young in two consecutive at-bats. But Guillen admits he feels like a jilted lover when Contreras quickly regresses, as he did Saturday night when he allowed a three-run home run to the Rangers' Hank Blalock after whiffing Young ...

When are Sox fans going to realize that Ozzie favors latin players no matter how bad they are.
Contreras and Colon are done but Ozzie will keep them around and thats wrong.
They will only hurt the team not help the team, end of story.

I've noticed this for years, you'd have to be blind not to. I guess the "diversity" lib crowd only sees what they want to see. How long did we have to suffer through the ineptness of Uribe before the "diversity" management of the WS did anything.
I beg your pardon

Ozzie "feels like a jilted lover..."
Well, maybe if Ozzie would put out a little more Contreras might as well and everyone on the south side can have a gay ol' time.

I too have been saying that for years. Ozzie always gave the quick hook to Floyd and Danks last year and basically burned out the bullpen. It took injuries to give Anderson the shot he deserved otherwise Ozzie would have never given him a shot. Contreras is a bum with no heart. We would get more out of any kid from the minors and at least you would be developing someone.

We'd better get that info over to Konerko, Thome, Dye, Anderson, Fields, Getz, Pierzynski, Buehrle, Danks, Floyd, Linebrink, Jenks, Miller, Lillibridge, Thornton, Broadway, Beckham, Poreda, Podsednik, Owens, Richard Kenny Williams and Reinsdorf right away.
Thanks!

1. Without Uribe, Sox wouldn't have made it to the playoffs last year.
2. One bad pitch? If OG thinks JC gave up one bad pitch for a HR then it's a no brainer why JC pitches like crap. The HR wasn't the problem. The 2 BBs before that were the problem. JC had pinpoint control in that game, but pitched those walks strictly because he was afraid to throw strikes. If OG had half a brain he would have taken him out after the second walk before the HR even happened.
3. Clayton Richard sucks.
4. OG follows up one night's awful performance by fielding the worst possible team he could muster up? I'm usually easy on Guillen but he deserves to be fired simply for starting last night's line-up.
5. Brian Anderson sucks and even if OG is a racist, he didn't continue to play because he sucks and didn't deserve another chance - much like Richard and Lillibridge.

Ozzie sticking with Contrares in rotation too long brings back memories of Terry Bevington taking far too long to realize Jamie Navarro could not get anybody out and leaving him in the rotation.

If Clayton Richard continues to suck, this season will be a long one.
He is a real key.
He could replace either Colon or Contreras in the rotation.
They also need him in the pen to be effective.
I'm still counting on Richard, Poreda and Beckham to make strides with the big club, probably during the month of June when they have a ton of home games.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Libra

You're ready to put a lot of energy and drive into the day, but you'll prefer it if you're doing things that have meaning and emotional significance for you. There's a chance that you could get quite heated over anything that strikes you as important now, and others could be taken aback by your vehemence. There might also be a minor dust-up over a financial matter.
