White Sox get solid outing from Gavin Floyd

Even with the security of winning no worse than the fifth spot in the White Sox 's rotation, Gavin Floyd has created his own competition with himself.

If your standard is "he didn't get absolutely crushed today" then great job for a 5.
It looks like the standard is at an all time low this year.

If Floyd manages to stay in the rotation for the first 2 months of the season then he will be considered a success. Sox fan's standards for success this year...a .500 club. Sox fans are embracing mediocrity like never before. Thanks kenny.

Although I will give him some early credit on the McCarthy situation. Like I wrote before, if they sniffed arm trouble because of his unorthodox delivery and wild arm motion then they deserve credit.
