O's call up Aquino, designate Bukvich

The Orioles announced today that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Greg Aquino from Triple-A Norfolk and designated right-hander Ryan Bukvich for assignment.

You think O's would just bring up Randor Bierd ....now there going to have to trade two players by the 19th. Walker back on the 15 and Bierd on the 19th.

Not a huge surprise maybe only for 2 weeks then we will have to bring back randor bierd or lose him back to detroit. With Reimold and Montanez crushing the ball at AA it will be interesting to see what they do with Payton by july 31. Same with walker and bradford although I really like his different look he gives hitters..

Ramon hernandez recent hitting surge could have him at his highest value since his 1st year. I still like him though anyone can block the plate better on plays at the plate.. July may prove an interesting month for Andy MacPhails' efforts.. I hope he continues his record and concentrates on getting a top AA/AAA SS for the future in trades..
