It's lights out for the Cubs in a 12-6 loss to Milwaukee

Ryan Freel seemed to arrive in the nick of time on Saturday afternoon, just as Aramis Ramirez was being put on the 15-day disabled list with a dislocated left shoulder. Read more

Your sardonic attempt at humor shows who the classless one is.

Same Dusty who refuses to make his players accountable for anything you mean?? Hypocritical moreon, for all your Cubs suck season is over after 30 games rants, you really believe Cincy is a contender after the same amount of games. Dude do everyone a favor and swallow a gun.

Time for Hendry to do what he was supposed to do last winter: get some quality bullpen pitchers. I don't know who did the evaluating of the guys they got, but they failed miserably. Also, it's time to re-evaluate the training staff. Aren't the players supposed to be ready to play when they leave spring training? Pulled hamstrings, groins, calves, etc. Hmmm.... And of coarse, the constant problem of not hitting in the clutch. Must be post season!

Not if your attempts at humor are on the ballot.

Really? So the double and then the two-run homer that breathed life into the Cubs -- a difficult task with this team -- was not enough for you? Albert Pujols was hitless tonight and the Cardinals lost. Guess that makes the loss solely his fault, right?

Jim Hendry Needs to go for starters, and we better understand that guys like Mark Derosa are invaluable, when you have the injuries the cubs are getting. Derrick Lee is either washed up or batting coach needs to get his money earned. Look at the rotten batting averages. Give me a break, the Cubs will soon be in the last place or close.

Geez, I thought money meant class. Guess it doesn't necessarily in Glencoe because you've flown over, under and around the cuckoos' nest. Get a life and get off of Santo's back. All of the others who are down on your sorry *** as right on target.

Lou said it all in this article, "It's not fun watching..." I officially won't despair until after the Blackhawks win it all and the only thing left is to return to Wrigley.

Actually, Bucketbutt unleashed the only good swing I've seen him make in 2 weeks on that double to Center.

It's one thing to be in a slump. It's something else to pay $12 mil a year to a guy who, if you know how to watch and break down a hitter's mechanics, can plainly see has a serious swing defect or deficiency.

Similarly, there's a problem if your farm system is emphasizing the nurturing of career minor leaguers into their 30's and using them to fill out the major league roster.

Judging by the visual evidence in addition to the stats, Hendry has created an alarming emergency at all levels of play.
