Make that Soto 0-4 and 5 left on base and Lou lets him bat against another right handed reliever with 2 men on instead of batting Hill or Scales or anyone from the left side..

Get Lou out of here!!!!

Way to go Lou --NOw put in your Great reliever and really blow it!!!

Really?? Have you taken notice of teh NL West or AL Central??
Have you taken notice of the AL Central now?! Especially, after the Twins manhandled the Cubs in Wrigley. It probably be wise, if your RF would take notice of how many outs there are.

So do a lot of other players. The difference is, those players aren't slant-eyes that swing like girls.
P.S. Is it time for Jap Crap to get fit for a golden straw hat, or whatever the chink equivalent of a golden sombrero is?

Hey delusional flubbers.
Exactly how many post season games has this particular starting pitching staff won in the past two seasons?
It's a garbage staff, and it will wear down with the help of lulu and little larry. Pitching against the Bucs, Reds, Nats, Stros and Brewcrew is a whole different can of worms than facing the Dodgers or Phillies in post season.
Dumpster is fukubutt, Lilly is a big situation gopher-chucker, Z melts under slightest pressure or distraction, Marshall is meat, and they'll mess up Wells as sure as the sun rises in the East (today could be tell-tale).
Summary: mediocrity
Garbage staff? Look at your Phills...talk about a garbage staff. Worst World Series Team Ever.

There's nothing ignorant about it. It's the truth, and it's proven every day. Chinks aren't good enough for the major leagues.

Hell, you dont have be lou Piniella to know that the Cubs must start hitting. the question is, why are those two over paid dogs Soriano and Bradley still playing. Niether one is earning his bloated contract.
Today, against Minnesota, Bradley coulnd't remember how many out there were in the 8th inning. His mind must have been elsewhere. Also, recently it looks like Fukudome is reverting to his second half of the season slump a bit early.

I was at the game and had to sit thru this game listening to hillbilly astro fans saying things like the cubs always choke, they suck, this and that it was rough of course being that i grew up in chicago i fired back in defense of my beloved cubbies and explained that their team is in last place which makes them the houston lastros, but to be honest its tough trying to defend your team to a bunch of backwards hillbillies when your team is dumb enough to make the same mistake 2 times in a row back to back!!. I am aware that Berkman is a great player but he is in a slump right now and to walk him and pitch to Blum is crazy. that guy seems to only hit when it counts he did play on the south side once apon a time so he is no stranger to the cubs so whats the excuse>?.
I guess the schools in Chicago do not teach the meaning of redundancy or how to properly spell words. Then again, maybe English is not your first language!!!!!

you guys all act like derosa is a god. He's okay. He's a good utility guy, but he's no everyday player. If it weren't for the unfortunate injury to aram, you wouldn't even really need him. So stop acting like if you all had derosa all would be right in the world. He's not the answer to the problem that is your bullpen. You guys don't have solid middle relief, don't have a reliable closer, or a reliable setup man. Marmol is way too wild...albeit, sometimes 'effectively wild' but more often then not, detrimentally wild.
Pitching and defense wins championships. Your starting rotation is solid, but you're missing the other pieces of the puzzle. the bats will come around.
I wasnt trying to say Derosa was some kind of a god! I said that I thought Lou made a mistake in letting him go so they would have room for Bradley! Look at the numbers:
Milton Bradley:
46gms/5hr/16rbi.
Mark Derosa:
59gms/10hr/42rbi(Not a bad start for a utility guy)
As far as the pitching gos, You are right, Starters hand the ball over with a lead, and the relief boys loose the game for them.

So, I see you're saying if you had been born in Houston you would be of a different nationality. You really are goofy.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

You should have a lucky break today when fate steps in and takes a hand. For instance, a situation may seem to be heading for disaster when you're suddenly bailed out in ways you would never have imagined. However, this doesn't mean you can take foolish risks in the hope that things will work out all right because there's no guaranteeing that they'll do so automatically.
