brian should have been allowed to finish. what was gained by taking him out? the arm strength and savvy will never improve by counting pitches on the starters. come-on gardenhire; all the great pitchers in the past ; didn't put up great winning records by being jerked in 7 innings. they did it by pitching 9 innings.

Duensing pitched fair today, but the team just doesn't produce enough runs to support an okay outing. The SP's have a lot of pressure o them to pitch deep into games and give up very few runs. And while I think the SP's are a decent group they're not up to that challenge.
I find myself shifting from expecting a Twins turn-around to thinking about who might have to go in the summer fire-sale that has become all but inevitable.
