"General manager Bill Smith might want to think twice about letting free agents Jason Kubel and Michael Cuddyer slip away after the season." It's a great article except this sentence. What has Cuddyer done again? He's still having a tough time playing balls in the corner at Target Field. He went 0-4 and stranded three runners last night. Drew Butera has as many RBI: 4. And sadly, Cuddyer is indeed one of the best hitters on the team. Cuddyer should bat second. He has been fairly got about making contact, and he is batting over .240 now. It could only be an improvement over Tolbert or Casilla.

A good article, however...a bit of humor helps when all the other Twins news is so discouraging.

Liriano proved last night that he is who we thought he was...a no talent head case who, after supposedly being taken out because of an illness, is a pu55y like the rest of that sorry team....the softest team of ball players ever assembled...and they sure play like it. I can't believe that people are still paying top dolllar to watch this team of no fire no talent underachievers who don't give a f*k, of a team play.......
I was glad to read that at least the fans booed last night to these millionaires know they are not happy with their play..

What a train wreck. This team is worthless. Twinks are the worst team in baseball and who cares if they have a great ballpark. Who in their right mind wants to waste money and time watching a loser. Only in Wrigely does that happen. But thats right the Cubs have a better team on the field this year.

Ok, we have some injuries, but man, is our farm system that weak that this is the best we have to bring up for reinforcements. I understand some of these kids need more time, but usually you have one or two guys ready to step in and contibute when needed.

Rather than pat the Baby Jesus on the back for all his hard work rehabbing, why not ask why he didn't bother doing this work in the OFF season? Or maybe $23 mil/yr isn't enough for 12 months of work.

Oh wait, it's the St. Paul paper. No Mauer criticism allowed.
