Liriano struggles in Twins' 4-1 loss to Royals

Francisco Liriano's late return to the Twins' starting rotation Sunday afternoon ended worse than any start during a forgettable season for the former franchise player.

WHo made the decision to start Liriano? His once great control is gone, and maybe he'll be back, but nothing he did this year would allow you to put him in this position. Sorry Gardy, but I think it's time for you to go.

Grienke owns the Twins, but saying that, Gardenhire needs to move Liriano way, way down to the end of the bench and not put him in any game until he learns how to pitch. He has the worst pitching motion I have ever seen. On top of that he has lost his once overpowering speed of his fastball which in turn reduces the effectiveness of his other pitches. Unless he changes he will always have arm troubles and never be an established major league pitcher. Remember he was just a throw in on that trade deal that brought Nathan and Bonser for AJ. I wonder why the Giants gave up on him so early in his career.

i agree, you dont start Liriano in this situation, but you have to score more then one win no matter who is pitching

Greinke is amazing. Easily the best pitcher on one of the worst teams. In fact, he probably should be Cy Young award winner. Liriano = epic fail!
