I dont know if he will help as a long relief guy... but if we can get a few scoreless innings out of him before Albers comes back I will be happy.

Given his track record, I'd take a single scoreless inning.

All the pitchers are either hurt, overused, or sick. I hope F-Cab can throw a few innings. He is coming back from elbow surgery. Don't know how effective he will be.

He'll be back around the same time as Adam Loewen comes back. With those two guys healthy, the Birds might do even BETTER than my prediction of 86 wins...
86 WINS - 76 LOSSES |

Roadglide, I'm sure Matt wouldn't care for you either. Learn to type and learn something about baseball. "Let's bring up our top prospect when he isn't ready so he fails and never has a chance to develop so we can win 85 games instead of 82"! You people are amazing!!! |

Talk about fair weather fans! Until last night, Matt Albers was one of our aces in the hole to get to George Sherrill, along with Jimmy Johnson. He wasn't even told he was going to start until game-day. Plus, he pitched two innings on Saturday, so he was pitching only on two days rest. For crying out loud! |

yea i miss spelled a word.you need to learn to read i said i would like to see tillman and matt wieters some time this year.i didnt say tomorow you idiot |

"miss spelled A word"? Sorry roadglide, I failed Gibberish in High School but I think I got most of what you said. My point is still the same. Anytime this year is TOO SOON. I know everyone wants to see this guy play, but go spend $4.50 at a Baysocks game. There is no positive to bring him up this year. This is not the season to make the playoffs, I know it hurts but it's true. And unless you are texting from a phone that is missing 2 or 3 keys I think we know who wins battle of the idiots. |

Please God not Brendan Harris! He's terrible! I don't even think his defense is any better than Cintron's!

Wow, you guys are tough and impatient. F. Cabrera obviously played hurt last year. This year in the first 15 innings he has pitched he has only given up one run. Given half a chance he might just be a real surprise to many of you.
I watched him as closer in the World Baseball Classic and he was lights out vs. many great major leaguers. His delivery looks tighter and no falling off the mound. He might just be a real find and help our team. Please keep an open mind and remember he is coming off serious elbow surgery. The Indians gave up on Gutherie, Brandon Phillips, Milton Bradley and another Puerto Rican who is experiencing great success this year. I can'at recall his name. Their manager just loves these bland, goody two shoes players just like him...no color and not very entertaining. |
