Sorry Hank, but I disagree. It should also go for Mark McGwire. These guys used "Roids" and therefore should be stricken from the records book.

Like all of society's unregulated excesses over the past 15 years, the 'roid issues will be cumbersome, inequitable, and a costly waste of time to assess. How do you prove who did 'roids or how much they did...if a guy did a one time injection, is that the same as a regualar user? Not all users experienced positive results anyway. Bottom line is that MLB, ie Selig the hypocrite, knew this was going on and turned a blind eye. Now that idiot Selig acts holy....the hypocrite actually boycotted Bond's record setting home run game. They were in love with the home run, which they felt gave the game star power and money. What a f_ing joke....nothing worse than a sloppy 15-10 game full of home runs. Give me a well pitched 5-2 game, that includes stolen bases, defense, and line drive shots any day. The records stand and who gets into the HOF remains subjective based on the sportswriter's votes...they can keep the cheaters out.

Have you ever, ever, heard or read about one afro criticizing another afro! It just doesn't happen. Now if it was a non-afro, then Hank would have a different comment.

Aaron is a class guy but the fact remains that this entire era of bonds, sossa, Macquire, etc etc. should be flushed down the toilet. None of their records should count. Why reward guys who cheated. As for the Commissioner, they should drop him down a well along with the head of the players union because they all had a part in causing this mess.

It's all about the race (COlor).

Just look at Phelps... a pic of him smoking something and they want to take everything from him.... yet half black obaba smoked dope and snorted coke and they elect him president.

Whats to think about? strip this guy of a title he cheeted to get? let him keep it? what message does that send to our youth? Baseball needs to set its priorities in order.

Baroid Bonds is the biggest jack ass and worst idiot possible to break "the Hammer's" record, it should not count. Bonds, YOU SUCK, just like Urban Meyer and Gayter Nation.

Who died and made Hank Aaron god? He's not even the home run king himself. It is and always will be Babe Ruth.
It took Aaron like 10 extra years and 20,000 at-bats to hit 40 more homers than Ruth. When someone hits 714 homers in the same amount of at-bats as Ruth, let me know.
Well, I think we all agree with Woody on this!

If he had not been a pitcher, he would have hit 900.

And if he had taken roids, 2,000.
