Mets results thus far on this homestand:

Win, loss, win, loss, win, loss.

Need I say more? Time for Willie Randolph to be shown the door. Enough is enough.

Since departing for Phoenix a couple weeks ago the Mets were 2 games over .500. Since then they are 5-6 and still are 2 games over .500 They aren't moving. They are stuck in neutral with the tires spinning. This simply cant go on, with nobody held accountable. It's getting disgusting.

Dump Heilman too. Give Muniz or McNab a shot. They couldn't do any worse.

Willie has to be the biggest as s in baseball, he continually goes to that dead beat Heilman and unless he is as stupid as he looks should know that aimless Aaron will give the game away. How much longer is the wait for Heilman and Willie to get dumped??

Sosa Gone! Finally! Now when do we rid ourselves of our other albatross, Heilman? Trade him to a team that needs a starter, cause he certainly can't relieve! Give him away, I don't care! Maybe he does bad because they want him to relieve and he wants to start? His way of forcing that issue?
Wake up Omar, he needs to Go Go and NOW!!

If I were Omar, I'd trade Heilman... for a bag of batting practice balls. And this loser wants to be a starter?!!! Hey Aaron, here's some advice; why don't you think about selling used cars. You might be better at that.

The problem with that is that the only GM stupid enough to trade for him is Omar Minaya

i've done the math, and based on the difference in years between the mets championships and league championships, the earliest the mets will win another world series is 2053...okay, mushmouth did the math.

Could somebody please let Mr. Minaya know the following:

Aaron Heilman Stats:
IP 21
Hits 20 (for setup pitcher!)
BB 11 (for setup pitcher!)
ER 11 (for setup pitcher!)
HR 4 (for setup pitcher!)
ERA 4.64 (for setup pitcher!!!)
W 0
L 0
SV 0
Plus tons of inherit runners he has allowed to score.

Earth to Omar… GET RID OF HEILMAN! NOW!
Omar, you can get a good deal for him at K-Mart Blue Light Special.

Hey Little Billy Boy Big Mouth Wagner isn’t time you chew-out Heilman?

I stand corrected.

Heilman now has given up:
23 Hits
12 BB
14 ER
And his ERA is up to 5.82

For a setup pitcher!!!!!

Good post, this team is a mediocre team period.unless they fire Willie, or make some other moves to shake this team up, this is what we will be watching until football season.I'm tired of hearing all the excuses like 'we need to get better" etc. its time for a change now!

Willie blows!!!!! The bullpen was used because thats what willie does to try and look like a genius. Why he didn't stick with Vargas is a mystery unless you consider Willie loves to save the day. Fire Willie today and make the playoffs later.

YOU HAD YOUR SHOT....YOU FAILED.
SOMEONE (OM) NEEDS TO CLOSE THE DOOR ON YOUR TENURE AS METS MANAGER. GO BACK TO THE YANKEES OR ANYWHERE NOT IN A METS UNIFORM.
YOU'RE RUINING THE JOYS OF OUR LAST YEAR GOING TO SHEA.

It is clear Willie will never be popular as the METS manager, or phrasing it better-he will never be a competent METS manager. He does not have a command of the game. Some great players can parlay that into being a good manager, Willie isn't one of them. Everyone knows that when a pitcher like Heilmann is struggling and you are going to try to let him work it out, you don't bring him in, in a close game (he has no confidence). You bring him in when you have a game 6-0 or 8-3 or you are getting blown out yourself. late in the game in a situation like that, turn him loose with an empty head and tell him to let it loose and think about nothing else. This is how you start to rehabilitate a pitcher.
