Sounds like Justin may have been hit a bit harder than we all first thought....on the contrary, Justin, you all have plenty to worry about, and it doesn't appear the team can control much of anything at this point.

Stick a fork in 'em. Gardy will be gone by Memorial Day. So much for his MOTY award. Means little now.

Gardy was manager of the year last year; he didn't just forget how to coach. think about this, injury, injury injury. These small league players need to step up to the plate and begin to be a team. The older, seasoned players, need to step and be leaders; this lockerroom crybaby crap needs to end. Now be a team, and start playing TWINS baseball.
Leave Gardy alone.

Gardy being manager of the year last year was a farce, he has always been over rated as a manager, this year his ineptness is catching up to him.

Maybe they should put Pavano in the batting lineup with that swing.

This team lacks heart, they need a guy in the dug out that will tear some butt when need be. They are not playing as a team Gardy is king of the B-squad. He over coaches and simply has lost control. He coddles these guys like school girls in the Easter dresses. Time these guys put on their big boy pants and start earning their keep. Worst in the league! Can't play at a high level....then send them down or cut them!
Gardy should be buying every fan in the stadium a beer with one big fat apology.

On pace for 54 wins

Everyone says Gardy should be fired. At this pace, the players on this team will cause him to walk away by Memorial Day. Can you imagine how much antacid that guy must be going through? Numbers don't lie - at this pace they win 54 games, roughly 40 fewer than last year. The Twins should make the best out of this and start releasing players and seeing what type of talent lies at AAA and AA. Start with Casilla on the off day tomorrow.

Complaints aside, the Twins record means little until the end of June. If anything, Bill Smith should be shouldering a lot of the blame. With Mauer and Young out of the lineup, and the vastly overrated Morneau and Cuddyer doing little, the Twins simply do not have the offensive talent of most teams.

Quite simply, poor pitching, hitting, fielding, base-running and managing will not win many games.

That goes hand-in-hand with the Twins crapping the proverbial bed on a daily basis.

Just part of the Brett Favre curse, it not only struck the Vikings but every other sports team in Minnesota.

Minnesota sports teams were cursed long before Favre ever became a factor; only now it is a hybrid of curse, self-implosion, and irrationality. (See Vikings 2011 draft on that last one)

Gardy needs to read these guys the riot act because he doesn't have any leaders capable of doing it. Hard to be a leader when you're hitting under .235, which everybody on this team is except for Span and Kubel. Casilla is the worst shortstop in the majors, and this Tosoni kid could learn something by watching a good little league team...seriously, a major league outfielder that throws a ball into the middle of the infield? First thing the Twins should do is shake things up by making Joe Nathan a starting pitcher... less pressure coming back from injury and bring up Kyle Gibson. They need to get rid of Casilla and send Drew Butera with him (a career .175 hitter... and a .215 batting average in five seasons in the MINOR LEAGUES? There doesn't have to be any earth-shattering moves, but they need to change the attitude of this team and dump some dead weight, and if Gardy isn't willing to do that, then there is one big move that needs to happen.

Did Delmon Young get his sphincter fixed yet? I'll bet that the people who are foolish enough to buy in Hennepin County sure feel like chumps.

They were already the worst team in the league before they even played a game.

Boy, I'll sure be glad when spring training is over.
WHAT YOU SAY, This isn't spring training anymore.
Your kidding, of course. No Twins team can stink this bad during the real season.
**********
Lousy management right from the top, inferior coaches, poor choices of who to keep on the roster, this is the worst & sorriest Twins team in recent memory. I kinda feel sorry for anyone who bought season tickets. Good luck even giving them away.
