It is not easy for any team to "beat" another M.L.B. team 3 games in a row.
All M.L.B. teams have the best players in the world to be there. Baseball is such a "every game is it's own competition" type of sport.
But,
I hope the Phillies don't have to go to a game 5.
The Dodgers swept the Cubs in 3.
They will just sit back and rest to see who they will play now.
If this series DOES go to a game 5...it will be a "do or die" game of Hammels Vs. C.C.
That will be, by far, the best game of the postseason that I hope never happens.
That would mean Hammels can't start the first game against the Dodgers. In a seven game series, Hammels can still get two starts, but, you always want to start with a win.
Myers is the "wild card". He can be great, or so bad that he throws every pitch right down the middle of the plate.
I think the best thing would be for the Phillies to just get it together and win game 4 and get it over with.
C.C. is NOT going to have back to back "bad" games. He is too good for that.
I think game 4, even though the Phillies have a one game lead, is a "do or die" game for them.
