Let's bring Ollie in with the bases loaded and the score tied in the 9th. I hate extra innings.

Just what we need, a happy guy by the name of Ollie.

Just produce Ollie and we'll be happy. Until then buy your own newspaper in the clubhouse if you choose to read about yourself and focus on conditioning in general and baseball specifically.

Ok, what if he does come out of the bullpen & does well? I'd say leave him in there. Maybe he isn't a starter & is meant to throw just a couple of innings. I hope he does well & we get another reliable starter. He may not be happy about it, but it would be best for team right???

Cuckoo Friend & Ollie should have been forced to go down to the minors to work on his mechanics & mental state. Many pitchers have gone down to the minors to work it back & look what happened to some particularly Brett the Wife Slapper Myers. He came back going 4-1 & was part of a World Champion last year. Steve Trachsel went down & had some good years for the Mets. Wang is down there too, he of the 34.50 ERA & he should be back to the old Wang soon, you hope. 36 million dollars for this joker. He has the IQ of a gnat. Seemed like Omar sensed something, nothing good has come out of it.

I may be alone on this, but I would keep Oliver Perez in the rotation. Twell Ollie we have confidence in you, you are in our starting rotation and just go out and compete. Johan Sanatana should be 5-0 to go along with that sparkling 1.10 ERA. Daniel Murphy, the heir apparent at first base in 2010?

Ok Perez, your whiny ass didn't get sent to the minors so you better get your crap straightened out. If you don't, we will boo you unmercifully.

If Omar sensed something, he should have had a clause in Ollie's contract permitting a minor league assignment. It's not like this breakdown was totally unexpected. I've been a huge Minaya supporter, until now.

King Boras' car is dirty and he would like to know if Perez and Minaya can wash it Friday night behind the Mets' bullpen...say around 800 pm. He would also like to have a cold Heineken during the wait.

I can't wait for the Minaya era to be over. Just think no more Ollie, no more Castillo, Delgado gone, reyes may actually learn or remember something, or better yet be gone also,Pedro won't be lurking in the darkness. Gosh to have a group of diverse players of all races and color playing together. Just like all of the other teams. Gosh. Gosh.

Hmm, sounds like Perez lucked out again. First, 3 year $36 million contract. Now, he gets to work less for the same salary.

Athlete's salaries should to be based on performance & games played with injuries taken into consideration.
