It would be easier to keep Murphy and trade the owners and management of the NY Mets.
I grant you that Murphy was screwed around by the Mets management with learning various positions and then taking heavy criticism, but we need some players of value in the in field. Murphy is a decent player with a timely bat. Don't the fans deserve someone of value to watch while Rome burns? At the very least, he can keep me interested for a few innings along with David Wright.
