If the bull pen improves, the Marlins will win the East. I have been watching the Phillies and Braves games too, and I am not impressed

it would have been nice to see Lindstrom come in and close out the game, but Fredie doesn't have any confidence in the bull pen.
Not everyone pitcher is going to give you 9 good innings.
We still need help in the pen
Agree...if we see it, you know Beinfest does. Look for some deals to bolster this weak spot in an otherwise nice looking roster.

JJ had Delgado struck out but the ump didn't call it, then he doubled and scored. That's OK, GO FISH!

Its early Marlins fans, but I am cautiously optimistic about the good start. We got a little lucky yesterday, but I'll take it, especialy against the hated Mets, who will hang around all year.

Now lets see see what the first road trip of the year brings. The Bravos have also started off well and we'll see if Washington and Pittsburgh are already mailing it in.

And if the ump had the stones to call a 3rd strike on Delgado, Schmetz would have been shutout.

Should have been a shut out. Johnson got screwed on that 1-2 97mph fastball on the corner of the plate. This kid Johnson is for real. Matter of fact the Marlins are for real. Just imagine when the outfield wakes up and starts to hit, NL East here we come!

Yeah, we have to get Cody Ross going but I'm not gonna get on his case this early. We're getting tremendous production from the infield and the catchers.
