Joe Kittinger is a genuine American hero - and a true gentleman. He would be the gentleman also about the record being broken.

However, no one has the good sense to actually confer w/Joe about recreating the event. The ego's are astounding, yet Joe who COULD be egotistical, is not. But then he's the real deal and not all talk.

Sadly someone will try, not have conferred with Joe who has always availed himself, and most probably die.

I hope not, but, there it is.

God bless you Joe, for all that you have done for our Country. And Sherry, God bless you for taking care of my hero.
