After the Dbacks began beating up on the Mets last night, I decided I've had it. They're unwatchable and I think this season is over. I'm finding it hard to care what they do.

1 This was supposed to be Thee Year. But the remnants of the 2007 gag have continued. The 2,000 people that showed up at the Flushing Toilet were treated to another NY MESS choke. Up 5 runs only to lose 9-5. The pitching was great. David Wrong was great and how about the 18 Mil a year Beltranny. Reyes is better than Jeter? Hey, did Reyes laugh and jump up and down in this humiliating loss like he does when he makes an error or gets thrown out on base? Reyes is a clown and couldn't be a pimple on a real shortstops ####. The NY Mu T fans made fun of Joba when he showed emotion after he made a good play, yet when Reyes acts like a circus clown after making an error, the NY MATS fans say nothing. Get over it fans of the NY MESS, your team is a pack of losers. Choke in 2007 followed by the sub .500 record this year.There is no hope for the NY Mutropolitans and the 2,000 fans that showed up last night showed that the team is the pits!! The one good thing is that if NY MELTS want to talk about NY baseball, they talk about the NY Yankees. Why is that? Well, NY Mut fans, enjoy your season with your new hero, Santana. Do you think they will let him pitch to a team above .500? BBBBBBwwwwwwaaaahahahaha |

1 You are no different than any other fan of the NY MELTS. Just ask the 2,000 fans that showed up at the Flushing Toilet to see the NY MU TS choke to the D'backs. |

I never understood why Yankee fans have to come in here and talk about how bad the Mets are. I am pretty sure you guys should just focus on your own season. Last time I checked you guys were 6.5 games out. As for the Mets they have no passion! They have the same looks on their face whether they win or lose. NO FIRE!!! I'm Boycotting! |

I've had it, even when they were up by 3 last night I couldn't or didn't wanna watch, why ruin my night to only have to go to bed and then sit through another day of work. I'll find something else to do. Once they care again, I'll care again

Willie and Omar should take a bow ,these millionare clowns can't win for s***. Its give away time unless the management wakes up ? They will loose their shirt if fans dessert the amusment park at Shea. We need help and they know it but by the time they realize it nobody will want any of these clowns .
they get men on and the next 3 guys can't the ball out of the infield,come on your major leaguers not dbl.A It seems every team come in with no name and kicks our butt.We have the millionare row and they can't hit the ball past the infield. Willie is not a major league manager ,he was brought in because he would be the first black manager in NY. history .Well he sure is making a name for himself but in a negative way .Get rid of Peterson as pitching coach and hire someone that knows how to teach a curve ball and sinkers not fast ball, slider, change because the other teams have got the key to Met pitching.We need new blood here and fast if you want to make the play offs this year ! WAKE UP OMAR ,TODAY IS THE TIME ? |

Forget about it ! This team is done and most of the blame falls on Omar for the roster he put together. Please take a look at Theo Epstein and how he evaluates his players. When he feels the player has peaked he does'nt re sign them especially for big bucks. ie Pedro and Schilling. Back up the truck and start getting the roster ready for the new stadium.

We need a major shake-up and we need it now! Fire somebody, fire everybody......I don't care, but we need major change. I think we have talent and I think we also have guys with heart and passion, but they need to be fired up.......I think there are things going on behind the scenes, in the locker room etc, that are affecting the players...that is no excuse of course, they get paid enough they should be winning, but if something is interfering with their drive, we need to fix it.
|
||||
Tom, you seem like a nice enough guy, but it is "lose" not "loose". Thank you. |

Ah... There's Beltran again, baseball's #1 rally killer... At least get him batting at the bottom of the order, where his microscopic BA with runners in scoring position is less of a liability. Personally, I'd unload Beltran at the first opportunity. He's never lived up to his potential, or his paycheck.
Lose Hielman and Perez... Two guys who can't seem to find any level of consistency. Randolph should have been fired in October, likewise Peterson. This team needs leadership changes immediately. Willie could not lead a wet dog in from a thunderstorm. |

I just turned my newspaper upside down and guess what, The Yankees are in first place. Both NY teams stink. The Yankees 207 million and what do you get? A little bit older and deeper in debt. |

It is just amazing how bad this team is. If this continues, Willie most certainly will be fired. Omar should go with him, but I doubt that will happen. Even if Willie screams in the ear of every player to play better, it still won't help. Minaya signed guys that were great elswhere, but when they came here, their skills diminished, therefore you have a team of underachievers. Willie can't control that.
|

The problem is across the board it starts with the owners, Omar, Willie and a bunch of overpaid under achievers. Talk is cheap, they need to start playing and stop waiting for some else to get the job done. We blame Omar for some of his trades, and should! But this has been going on before OMar... the biggest one was Kazmir trade... how does an owner who played HS ball with probably the greated left handy pitcher ever allow a rookie hard throwing left with a good curve, go for a sored armed rigthy? Fred must have been on drugs that day... he should have known better... then there is Bell, Bannister. also, Tired of this 100 pitch count .. Maine should have started the 6th inning...we may have still lost but pitch count should not be a main reason fo lifting a pitcher... Bottom line when do the Giants report for training!!
