September collapse? Are you kidding? You have to be in first by several games to collapse. Try countdown to the June collapse. The way the Mets are playing they will be history by September.

Los nostephanfan....countdown to mental collapse before Sept. I know I said I wasn't going to acknowledge this mucking foron, but as long as he keeps writing the same thing since he has no life, why the heck not. Now, as far as the Mets are concerned, the season is far from over, but they need to put a couple of wins together and get some confidence back. It won't be easy, but Manuel is going to have to do something. It is apparent that Minaya isn't going to make any deals, so Manuel will have to use the hand he is delat currently, andhope the regulars come back soon.

This was a pretty painful game to watch. It seems that David Wright is not stepping up. When your only star is trying to carry the team while the other guys get healthy, he has to get key hits. I see him do all the rah rah stuff in the dugout but he has been a big disappointment at the plate during this slump. If Minaya cannot make a key trade NOW for a big bat, the season is over for these guys. A viable option may be to go after LaRoche from the Pirates for a solid first baseman that has some pop in his bat. What does Pittsburgh want is the key. Maybe we can dump Perez on them.

Omar Minaya announced today that they will change the spelling of the team name from the METS to the METZ. Using the letter Z at the end of the team name fits the team better as it portrays more of a latino feel.
This team is finito-

WE DO NOT WANT LaROCHE !! he's a lazy player and lazy players don't give a spark to teams. The only disappointments are Church, Perez and Tatis. Everything else is injuries or youth.

Reyes never really did care. The boy is a diva with little concern for his team.

Please...why would any of the boys on the DL actually care about doing something as strenuous as playing baseball?

They're all millionaires now. So why actually work for a living?

This is just silly.

If we cannot sustain a level of .500 play, then yeah, we need help," Manuel said. "That's fundamental to me. It's feeling what we're doing is not getting it done."

That was clearly obvious the everyone a long time ago.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Virgo

If something is weighing on your mind it will start to affect your health, Virgo. It might make you feel tired or depressed, or it could dominate your thoughts. You know what you should do about it, of course, but it seems like too much effort or you want to pretend that it doesn't exist. Unfortunately, this escapist attitude won't make the problem go away and might even make it more tricky by the time you finally decide to tackle it.
