Carl Pavano is rebuilding his career in the place it nearly ended. It was while pitching at the Metrodome for the New York Yankees that Pavano suffered the elbow injury that precipitated Tommy John surgery, just one of the bad breaks that made his four-year stay in New York a nightmare.
