Another typical Central Division Demolition Derby, seeing which team can lose the fewest games and emerge in the winners circle grinning and Aw Shucksing!
So far Detroit have managed to hit the wall and the White Sox arent far behind.
Going into the series with the Sox, our Twins look in good shape. I just hope they arent up to their old trick of letting the opposition beat them so badly the opposition get exhausted - the old Muhammed Ali strategy - and then step over their worn out opponents at the end of the season.

Well, its August and the Twins are playing meaningful baseball. Right now none more important than against the team we are tied with for the AL central. At least 75% of baseball fans are not bothering to follow their teams any more, so I for one am glad the Twins are back playing well. I can only surmise that Morneau's return will be a real impetus to the Twins line up.
