Nice win for the Yankees on a night that the Sox get embarrassed and Los Mets continue their losing ways.

An A-Bomb for A-Rod......that shot is still in the air.

You bet! I'm hoping they can run off a few more to get this season rolling in a real positive direction. They've been good but I think they can be even better! 12 over .500 is a good position to be in just prior to the all star break.
Go Yanks!

You said it Jim. Was not impressed with the Hinske signing but it can't hurt seeing as he plays 1st/3rd/OF. Has a little more pop then Ransom I guess on days that Arod needs the rest. Right now I think he is turning his season around big time and showing how big of a difference maker he is in the lineup.
Gotta love how some of these attention starved losers will stoop to anything in order to get a response. Man oh man their lives have gotta suck. haha Be well!

I don't understand why they keep following these cookie-cutter pitching decisions - why take Hughes out at all? He's been doing well, he wasn't in trouble in the 7th, so why bother with Bruney? Or Rivera even, if Hughes gets through the 8th without a problem?

Mr Brownstone is absolutely right. Hughes has been doing the job and Joe can't wait to use his "bridge." No reason to take Hughes out last night.

Oh and 8 with 10 to play! See, now you can stop wondering!!!
BTW in case you're wondering, the Yanks are 12 over .500 and 2 1/2 back of Boston!
Now you can focus your wondering on whether the Mess will ever win again!

Ahhh, got it! A free agent, just kinda hanging around, breaking balls till September comes around and you can hop on a bandwagon! Ya probably pick a new team every year just to spread the wealth and your obvious vast knowledge of the game!

hahahaha Unreal. Tough to sweep any team but hoping the Yanks can pull it off tonight. Vargas has some decent stuff. Should be another good game.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Cancer

Mercury turning retro is offering you the chance to make sweeping and long-lasting changes to your life, and to clear the ground for some fertile growth in 2010. Lawyers and legal matters, debates, contract negotiations, partnership or other alliances, and joint ventures of any kind need attention. As a Cancerian you don't like endings, but you must now bring an end to any situation or relationship that is holding you back or has passed its sell-by date. Look forward, not back, if you want a glittering future.
