K-Rod closes out feud with some heat

Full story: Newsday

The Mets lost in just about every way Sunday, except Francisco Rodriguez. He won the war of words between himself and Yankees reliever Brian Bruney, who issued an apology to reporters after the game regarding his comments from Saturday, when he called K-Rod "embarrassing." Bruney tried to deliver that apology to Rodriguez on the field during ...

Unfortunately, the rest of the team has neither the heart nor fire of K-Rod. Even when the Mets have all their players, they have inconsistent starting pitching, no guts, no hustle and play "amazingly" stupid. This is a team that, AT BEST, will hover around .500, maybe fight for a playoff spot, but in the end, not be up to the task, same as the last 2 years. Obviously the plan is not working. Thanks Omar, Fred and Jeff.

Another bitter person that only listens to what is being fed to him by the media. Injuries happen and this team is severely depleated with said injuries. Still they are always in it with the exception of yesterday. You have two players leading the league in hitting despite the missing parts around them.

Jump off the bandwagon now.

The NY MU TS get clobbered and humiliated 15-0 and we hear about a batting practice flair up!!!
I wanna here how Johan "the Great" imploded ans how the NY MU T s were humiliated, yet again, at the hands of their "other Daddy's", the NY Yankees.
Not only was it a runs scored crushing, the lowly NY MU ts were shut out!!
Then the Phillies win and start to pull away in the standings on the NY M Uts and the NY MU Ts go to only 3 games over .500.
The NY MU TS : Highest paid team in the NL every year with the least sucess!!!
Maybe if they stop choking one year they could do something.
15-0.... BBBBBBwwwwwaaaaaahahahahahahah a

Too bad for the NY MU Ts that K roid didn't close out the series with more than just one win in the series with the NY MU TS losing the series.
Heck, anybody would be frustrated seeing their team play like circus clowns while everybody is watching. Between the "Castillo Classic" and the "15-0 Humiliation" this weekend, the NY M UTS and their fans continue the MU TS franchise tradition of L and F, Losing and Frustration.
39 years ```` One World Series win!!
23 years``````since the last win !!!
9 years``````since last WS. A Humiliating loss to the NY Yankees. SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!
According to NY MESS announcers and MU TS manager, GOGGLES Manuel, the NY Yankees, the number one team in NY !!!! They said it!!

Every player has his own idiosyncrasies. Joba has his own fist pumping antics. Bruney should've kept his mouth shut.

I love it when a fan says a team doesn't have the heart or fire. What would you know about that? You sit in the stands and profess to know so much about sports, because you watch a game and call in to WFAN?
You never played the game beyond Little League so just watch professional athletes play and enjoy it.

only reason your posting is because of luis castillo. geez, at least recognize a gift when you get one. you should have dropped five of six total. more importantly, another sweep at the hands of the sox. once again.

Maybe you can start talking whenever you might beat the Red Sox. There's no way that the Spankees are making the playoffs.

Big Bad Bruney should learn to keep his mouth shut. he hasn't proven anything in his career whereas K-Rod has the save record & a World Series ring from the 2002 Angels. What has Bruney won? Nothing yet. He has a lot to prove before he can shoot his mouth off. Then again his teammate Joba engages in shenanigans as well.

Got the best of your p--- ussy boy Bruney running back to apologize.. now he respects K-Rod after getting told to put up or shut up.. a real coward kind of like a dooch bag like yourself posting as Los Mets.. quite sure you'd wouldn't back up your garbage talk face to face either..

And you there...

Let's be serious...did anyone see how tiny K-Rod looked next to Bruney...he would've gotten pounded if he tried anything. Keep pointing to the sky after each game like God really cares how you do...idiota!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Gemini

If you're currently keeping something secret it will really start to prey on your mind today and you'll worry about blurting it out at the wrong moment. It's one of those days in which you're absent-minded and completely wrapped up in your own thoughts. As a result, it will be hard to concentrate on anything else and this won't go down well in certain quarters.
