I would rather my teams be fun to watch losers than boring winners. For me, sports = entertainment.

its these type of antics you mets fans seem to brush off that is the exact kind of hotdog behavior that doesn't translate into championships.
who is bruney? who cares. as one guy point out, it doesn't take a genius or an allstar to tell his antics are not only tired, but childish, a bit selfish, unprofessional and downright disgusting for the sport. show some class mets fans. until you realize this type of stuff is selfish latino behavior, your team will still continue to underachieve.
OH. MY. GOD! "selfish latino behavior"????!!!!! Dennis Eckersley was about as white as the T-shirts at Wimbledon and he started the whole fist-pump ceremony 20 YEARS AGO!!! There is nothing new about the fist pump. Where have you, Bruney, and all your fellow dimwits been, son?

I would have thought my little Bry-Bry would have had something to say about the inordinate number of steroid cheats on his own team and on past Yankee teams that have won using illegal means. That's how we raised him.

Oh my, and doesn't he remember what I personally taught him about fat drunks and the amazing number of deaths they cause each year on the road? Why was he not upset about Joba's driving (not to mention his asshole-ian actions on the mound)yet so upset about this K-Rod fella?

What an embarrassment to my family. His father is rolling over in his grave. If he were alive, he'd be scratching and clawing at the lid of his coffin just tryin' to whip his stupid boy's ass......Jeez, I raised an idiot......

Who is Brian Bruney anyway? who is one bad outing away from from pitching for the Newark Bears. K-Rod is the best closer in baseball right now! and a world series winner! As for the fist pumping antics big deal every team has one or more players that do it so deal with it!
