Pretty bold coming from a person who's team has won nothing in a long long time!

The trend continues - again dominated by an average pitcher. Whenever these guys face a pitcher for the first time you can count on a few hits and fewer runs.

Not that bold considering the yanks are all but mathematically eliminated now. By the way, which team has won a playoff series more recently? hmm?

I am a Yankees fan and have been for over 50 years. The truth is and only the truth is the Yankees Suck Period.Lets hope that next year there will be some changes with the new stadium and all and Mgr. Girardi closes the gates before the cows leave, he who hesitates is lost.

This Morrow kid was throwing 98 mph fastballs with movement, hardly average. I agree that these guys stink against someone they don't have a book on -- there's such a thing as being too patient at the plate.

. Jim, you never answered my question regarding my predictions about the Mets winning the WS, Pedro 18 wins, why Idiot maybe because I never made those predictions. So what your'e saying is people who make predictions are people who know nothing. It seems like in every sport the EXPERTS, baseball, football, they make there picks(predictions)so according to your silly thinking since I supposedly made predictions then I'm dumb. I know Jim this is a lot to absorb but a man with your intellect I believe in you, NOT you are a MORON

Don't listen to this Jim guy. He's a moron who has a Tankees Legends book on his dresser and thinks this is the 1950's, you know, when the Tankees were actually good. He's only mad because every year the experts can't help but make predictions for the Tankees to make the World Series. I mean with a 200 million dollar payroll how coudn't they. And yet the Tankees can't even compete with a 43 million dollar team for the division, it's pretty sad, and yet hilarious at the same time you know. Jim's just going through a hard time right now, trying to figure out the math, but in the end it's always the same and he can't figure out how 43 million dollars goes further then 200 million. I think the tankees need to get a new accountant, don't ya think? LOL

Experts make predictions based on tons of information that is accumulated and sorted through. Are you saying you're an expert??? No way! I'm not saying you're an idiot because you make predictions, I'm saying your predictions are idiotic!
I did answer you regarding the Pedro prediction. You made it very early in the year/season. You said Pedro would win at least 18 this year and be a candidate for the Cy Young award. I'm not the only one who read it and laughed!

Now you're stretching it! Which team has won the most recent playoff series? WOW-so now ya want to talk history???
Reminder-the Yanks are close to being mathematically eliminated! very true! Also very true is the fact that your Mets have won NOTHING at this point in time, thus my comment regarding bold! Based on their sad history, I'd hold off on the celebrations till it's a done deal!!!
1986 and counting!

Fact is, experts or not, you can't listen to anyone's predictions and take them seriously. What experts predicted the Rays for the title or even to compete? The experts are idiots also! They look at or listen to this info yet they still have no clue! Part of it is they never played the game. Predictions by the experts are made for 1 reason only, the sports betting lines in Vegas. Nobody should take them seriously as just about everyone including experts are usually wrong.

The so called experts this year have the Cowboys automatically going to and winning a SB. Yet, Romo and coach Phillips suk under pressure. In the meantime, the Giants who none of these experts picked last year are getting no respect and are not even chosen to make the playoffs. And of course, the experts pick the Pats again to make the SB as if it's their birthright to be there and not possible for them to have a down year. Who really knows? That's the beauty of sports! You've got to play the game!

Easy for these Monday morning quarterbacks to put the knock on NY when they lose or are not going well, They act like 13 yr. old idiots calling them names. I'll give you my predictions before the season this yr. Angels in the west (easiest pick of all) Cleveland in central, I said one or both of NY & Boston would fall down ( actually both have{ NY the most } Toronto might be the surprise of division with those arms, Tampa is coming but, didn't think it would be this year! Dodgers in west, Cubs in central, closely followed by Milwaukee, and Mets in east. No one is hardly ever perfect in prognosticating. NY fans never have to be jealous of any team. It's certainly the other way around though!!! I heard people say they won't watch Yanks because they are over exposed. Whose fault is that? When they sign a free agent or even make a trade, others say they're buying a pennant. If it's not against rules then why cry? People also like to say Yanks have most $$$ in game, not so, but they do spend theirs on players and system in trying to win. Not many others do that. One thing that seems to be lost on many fans is that the long season is the toughest grind. Winning a division is the hard thing. Playoffs are a crap-shoot. Sure some teams have an edge over others, but it's cyclical. WS winner not always best team ( Cards over Tigers ) But win is in their column. More is proven over the long season, example inter-league play. For a number of years AL has dominated but it sure was the other way back a ways. Same for all-star games. This yr. AL lead by 46 games out of 252. That's like a 23 game lead in a 126 game season, but as I said NL also ruled a ways back. For those who take pleasure in another teams' misfortune is cheap and sad. Root against whom ever you like, but act a little grown up and forget the childish name calling. There's always another game and another yr. for everyone.
