This is the kind of game the Twins can feed off of all season long. To come from behind like that is a great confidence builder. GO TWINS!!

11-6 against Central divison teams, 10-6 at home.

Love when the "parana" get a taste of blood.

I just read flafan's(jmarksor,SYBIL)inanit y in the Strib blog. 75 wins and call me next week after the Bosox whip the Twins in Beantown. Earth to Sybil, the games are at the dome in MN. You and the Twins have something in common...they like to run and you like to run your mouth. Back to baseball..the Twins are starting to relax and hit. Maybe there is some destiny to be played out. By the way, I just watched Johan Santana pitch 6 innings against the D-Backs, throwing 116 pitches, 8Ks,4BBs 6hits, 1ER and no decision. His speed on his fastball ranged from 88-93 mph. What do you think flafan, is he FINISHED?

WOW.. thats all I can say about these guys... Its early, way early but to be in contention I'll have to say Im extremely satisfied. After the bullpen had been giving up games early I thought this was going too be a long season, and it still might be. But I just got to say way to go to these guys. Way to not give up, and to keep digging...
GO TWINS.....

Thanks, sports guys, for getting a story onto the Web and a slide show. But what's wrong with your main news Web people? The only Twins stories on the home page (it's 10 p.m. as I write this) are a day old. This story is not promoted. Wake up!!!

Well... what a game: give up 6 in the first & shut those Tigers out the rest of the game & what a 7th inning for those young Twins players .. wander what " flaflan " has to say about 2 series sweep.....?

flafan only comments when the Twins lose. The bonus that a winning streak brings is that we don't have to listen the Florida flash...the Umatilla thrilla

I see that flafan did comment. Of course it is dripping with sarcasm. You can't just enjoy the moment. No one is predicting a world series. The truth is that flafan really enjoys the negativity. At least tries to give the impression htat enjoyment is being gained. Keeps on trying to push those buttons. What a shallow, pathetic, existence. We should all feel sorry for ol' flafan. S/He wants us to feel as miserable as s/he does.... poor flafan!!!!

OK so the Twins play at home against Boston! Point? They will still get thrashed!! Get a grip Twins fans-you are barely a 500 team in the weak Central division!

The POINT is, as someone posted here, enjoy the moment and quit being a pain. A series in May against anyone will not settle the next five months. This young Twins team is playing more and more confidently and enjoying some success. So lighten up!! Who knows what's going to happen. Surely, none of us do.

75 wins--that's all you need to know or go read Sid and believe in fairytales. The Twins are feeble!!And by the way, this is a comment board not the Minnesota Sports booster club! Gosh, get a clue!!

As far as the fan from fl, it is best to just ignore its posts. It has some real problems. It actually gets a sexual thrill when it gets a reply. So, the advice is just to ignore it.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Taurus

Friends and partners aren't behaving as you would like today. They're eager to go their own way, much to your annoyance. In order to get round this you're going to have to ask yourself some tricky questions, such as whether you're trying to control everyone's behavior or whether they're being inconsiderate in wanting to do their own thing. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so maybe you should all release the tension by making it a super New Year's Eve celebration?
