Pick up two quickie games on the Rays? I'll take it!

Of course, with lack of hitting with men in scoring position (12th in the AL!) these guys still have to get their act together.

Btw, here's how we can help: Giambi mentioned that he'd really like to make the allstar team and many think it would be good for morale.

So, besides growing p0rn 'staches in solidarity, may I suggest that we all vote him in. He told the Times that he'd like to be in the HR derby.

Vote Giambi in.

And GO YANKEEEEEEEEES!!!

I don't know if you were able to see any of the game Paul, but I think they're looking very crisp of late. Outstanding starting pitching, very very good relief pitching, great defense and although the bats have been quiet, they're getting clutch hits.
Molina is starting to hit again and he's gunning everyone down on the base paths.
A few more W's before the break would set them up nicely for a dog days run!

Right you are!
Here they come! And don't think for a second that Tampa Bay left town not knowing it! One run on nine hits in 19 innings! That's a real kick in the groin to a team riding so high!

Hey guys I remember met fans last year running their mouths about the yankees not making the postseason because they were 21-29 in late may and their Mets were rolling, next thing I know in late september those fans were completly out of these forums... I wonder why? Not to mention me and some met fan bet bragging rights last year on that issue and the Yankees made the playoffs while the Mets made collapse headlines, I never saw that met fan post anything ever again...anyway, expect the Rays to begin their losing ways again after these 2 games, they will come back to earth very soon.

Yes, I also remember it!
KAT the loser, know nothing Mess fan was a ring leader and he fell off the face of the earth as the collapse was happening. We thought for certain he had committed suicide but no such luck. He's recently returned.
Hey, ask him about his Pedro prediction!!!!!

Yankees are going to tear it up in the 2nd half and go all the the way to the WS. That would be a great send off for Yankee stadium a WS title win at home!!!

Did you guys see that hit by the moose? LOL! I know they lost a close one today but Anyway, yankee bats have been somewhat cold but our pitching has been very good lately(specially the moose and pettitte). The yankee bats always seem to get red hot in the second half so if their pitching continues to be good the yankees will go on a complete tear like last year, I feel sorry for the team that gets a 20 run outburst handed to them some time during the second half. Go yankees.
