Still a fork in them. The only way they can save face is to fire Torre and hire Girardi

Until coming to the Yanks Torre was a so-so mangager. Even I have been surprised at his success in his current tenure but it is evident that the Yankees need someone else. Perhaps he is mellowing with age and he has lost his competetive fire.

This season may already be lost...Hindset is 20/20 but why is the man who needed to be Torre's successor sitting in Queens?

Joe Torre gets way too much credit for the Yankees sucess in the late 90s. Anyone could have managed the guys the Yankees had and still been as successful. Torre didn't make the Yankees a better team, on the contrary, the Yankees made Torre appear to be a better manager than he really is. Torre is too business-like, too complacent. He sits on the bench drinking his green tea and tries to deflect controversy. Screw that!!! This is the New York Yankees - we need a manager with fire in his belly. Joe Girardi should be managing this team, not Grandpa Joe Torre. Thanks for the memories, Joe, but if you knew what was in your own best interests, you'd step aside graciously and resign or else risk being fired

fire joe torre is right on. had torre been managing any other team these last ten years or so, nobody would be talking hall of fame for him. he didn't show much as the cardinals manager, and now with a team of not so good players, he is just another one of the guys. time for him to go.
