When Joe Torre had his strategy sessions on the mound when he was Yankee manager the only people who didn't attend were the grounds keepers. He made the right move to LA

Are the fans complaining? Or is Selig simply trying to justify his existence?
One of the nice things about the game of baseball is the absence of a clock!

The best thing about Baseball is the number of innings played! Football, Hockey, basketball, etc., are all ruled by TIME! Therefore, when a team gets the ball, they can move slower, pass off more, run ground plays just to eat up the clock as a way to legally "cheat" to win the game. No matter, what, baseball has to record 27 outs before a team can win! As Yogi once said, "It aint over til it's over!" Atta boy, Yogi!

When you're spending $350 per ticket, don't you want as much game as possible?
