Good for the kid. No matter what happens now, he had his moment in the spotlight in the great Yankee Stadium!

Great job Hank, Brian, and Joe! With you 3 idiots running the show, things aren't going to be much different next year.....Maybe even worse...

The offense still stinks. The Royals made three errors in one inning and they Yankees only scored two runs in that inning. The Royals put in a pitcher who gave up three consecutive homers in his last game and the Yankees couldn't touch him. And Xavier Nady reminds me of Arod. He pads his stats in meaningless situations and then chokes when the game is on the line.

That was one of the worst games i have ever watched in 40 yrs of watching baseball ! 13 innings of torture againts the lowly Royals !
It took a minor leaguer to get a hit with the hall of famers coming up small at every at bat ! This game feels like a loss to me more then a win ! Seasons over !

"They were playfully beating the rookie centerfielder up, patting him on the head and giving him his fare share of noogies, acting almost as if they just clinched the pennant."

Listening to the Yankee broadcaster on radio you would have thought they DID win the pennant. Just a little over the top with his gushing enthusiasm.

Yesterday looked like the Yanks won the World Series, but they got lucky in extra innings against the lowly Royals. How times have changed!
