LMAO ANOTHER HATER. Jeter OVERRATED??? WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? He has never batted under .300, scores 100+ runs a year, gets an average of 194 hits a year, drives in another 80-90. Wins gold gloves. But he is overrated? LMAO<quoted text>
Uh- Jeter isn't even the best shortstop on his own team, who are you kidding?

JETER is the only SHORTSTOP on the YANKEES. Alex Rodriguez is a Third Baseman and will remain there for the rest of his career. Name me a better shortstop all around in MLB baseball than Jeter?

Jeter has things arod wants, a ring on his pinkie, ring finger, middle finger and index finger. Fans who love him. A team that loves him. Better press. Better Q rating. He can go to strip joints without getting into hot water. Jeter Jealous of A-rod, I ask again, are you on crack?

Hahaha- an MVP! Only if A-Rod gets plastic surgery and wears Jeter's jersey! Jeter is the ultimate showboat who totally bings all the focus on himself anytime he does something minutely beyond the commonplace. He dopesn't deserve the rating of worst shortstop, but he is beyond doubt not only the most over-rated shortstop in the game, he is also definitely the most over-rated player in the game.
Base upon your statements your words are that of a "school yard child" not that of a baseball fan. Jeter is one of the most clutch players in the game, look in up, being your mentality, you need a education in the game and alot of maturely

Actually Jeter isn't one of the most clutch players - and I'm a huge Jeter fan. No doubt he's one of the best in the game but I think Jeter's "clutch" title is a bit overstated. For every clutch hit or homerun that Jeter comes through with, there's Jeter hitting into a double play that ends the inning in a crucial spot and he doesn't come through moment.

Doesn't A Rod know that MVP awards and $2.00 gets you a ride on the subway.MVP means nada...nothing....nilch. Holding a championship trophy is the award Derek has had in his hand many times.Have you Mr.Non hit in the post season?

Persoanlly, the Yankee organization would have been best served utilizing Mr. Rodriguez's upcoming salary on pitching and locking up Cano and Cabrera. This is an arrogant player who tries to be so polished that he slips all over himself with the comments he makes. From what I hear and what the media publishes, I don't even think he speaks Spanish.
Money isn't an issue with the Yanks - its an issue with us. Every new ridiculous big money contract = ridiculously higher ticket prices.

And A-Rod does speak Spanish.

Actually in 06 he should of won. HOWEVER its been rumored that since Morneau was the first Canuck with a legit shot, the Canadian voters left Jeter off the ballot completely almost assuring Morneau of the win.

You calling Jeter a showboat proves you have no idea what you're talking about.
