Alex: I love you Derek.

Derek: I love you Alex.

I'd love to see these two millionaires win a World Series.

Persoanlly, the Yankee organization would have been best served utilizing Mr. Rodriguez's upcoming salary on pitching and locking up Cano and Cabrera. This is an arrogant player who tries to be so polished that he slips all over himself with the comments he makes. From what I hear and what the media publishes, I don't even think he speaks Spanish.

It's quite simple, really.

Joe Girardi is young, energetic, baseball savvy and just cool. He adds all of the above to a club that was sagging in morale, spirit and true leadership, as of late.

Thus, everyone is getting along and to see Jeter and Arod become comrades in arms will create a chemistry not seen in the Bronx since the days of Miller Huggins.

They're going to win the World Series this year...so stay tuned, kids

I think Derek is too worried about what everyone thinks of him and is extremely jealous of A-Rods accomplishments.

A-Rod should predict how many errors THE CAPTAIN will make this year. No range, etc. Just pitch him inside and you've got him, as in the playoffs. To be an MVP, solid defence is the other half of the puzzle. Get a room.

he's not the center of attention for the first time so he'll make idiodic statements instead. Jeter is 34 doesnt hit for power and is extremly overated. Its not saying much for the year he thinks he is gonna have does it.

LMAO ANOTHER HATER. Jeter OVERRATED??? WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? He has never batted under .300, scores 100+ runs a year, gets an average of 194 hits a year, drives in another 80-90. Wins gold gloves. But he is overrated? LMAO

Isn't Jeter tight with Jordan? At one point does Jordan let him in on the beauty of BALD?! That receding fade is easily the worst haircut in baseball.
His hairline is receding faster than his range to his left!

ARod lapped Jeter in RBI and then added 10 more for good measure.

Jeter will never again be the MVP of his side of the infield, much less the American League.

Btw, how many more 1st round exits before Jeter loses carte blanche use of the term "winner?"

You guys all realize how mediocre Melky Cabrera is, right?

Can we stop talking about him like he's Mickey Mantle? Or even Bernie Williams? Think Roberto Kelly instead.

Palooka, tell us more about the days of Miller Huggins.

Yeah, I'm sure the overwhelming divisiveness of Joe Torre was all that was keeping this team back.

Scooter - it's not an error if you can't get to the ball to begin with.

Such is the majesty of Jeter's defensive numbers.

I predict Jeter is going to bone A rod's wife, while Jeter stays back from a road trip due to injury, and while a rod is with the team boning any and all females who come near him.

The only thing A-Rod can do to make amends with Jeter is say in public: "Sorry bro, I was jealous of your team and frustrated and I acted like a jerk. Can I try on one of your rings?".

You can tell you do NOT know anything about Baseball, Jeter was up for MVP 2 times and came in 2nd.

Hahaha- an MVP! Only if A-Rod gets plastic surgery and wears Jeter's jersey! Jeter is the ultimate showboat who totally bings all the focus on himself anytime he does something minutely beyond the commonplace. He dopesn't deserve the rating of worst shortstop, but he is beyond doubt not only the most over-rated shortstop in the game, he is also definitely the most over-rated player in the game.
