Any truth to the rumor that he was to buy the huge home being built on Enramada and La Cuarta?

I really have no feeling toward Nomar one way or the other but isn't this the same guy who was all teary-eyed about playing for his hometown Dodgers and saying how special it was?? I think he is a bit of a phony...and a little self-centered. Signing with the Red Sox for a day so he can retire? Get over yourself, Nomar...

Its his life and his career, and he can do whatever he wants with it ANY time he wants,he can retire because HE CAN and he has the $$$.I really dont think he would care what strangers think about his decision, only his family friends who support him are the opinions he cares about.
