Let's assume Alex Rodriguez's ninth-inning home run Friday night did more than propel the Yankees to a thrilling, 4-3, come-from-behind victory over the Orioles.

Worst management peformance of the year. Girardi pulls Pena out of the batter's box, a batter who's had 4 at bats, with no outs and a runner on third and inserts a cold pinch hitter witha 1-1 count. He effectly destroys Ramero's confidence and the pinch hitter strikes out. Girardi gained nothing with that move. At the worst, Pena would have made an out without advancing the runner to score. At best, several out opportuniies would have scored the run not to mention a base hit. Girardi used (wasted actually) some of our best players in the 10th... Truly disgusted with Joe G today.

Every team has obstacles to overcome. Whoever plays the Yankees has their line-up to overcome.

This could be the best hitting infield ever assembled.
