Joba Chamberlain came very close to giving up the lead in the top of the eighth but a four run bottom of the eighth for all practical purposes put the game out of reach. Chamberlain has been very shaky lately.

There isn't the same excitement for A-Rod going for 600 since he admitted to using PED's during part of his career.

I would still rather see him as the career homerun leader than Barry Bonds. Go A-Rod!!!!

In spite of his bloated salary and his past use of PED's, A-Rod is still an on the ball and hard working ballplayer who cares about the team unlike Barry Bonds who was so very self-absorbed in his own little world.

I agree. A-Rod finally grew up and figured it out. It change his reputation and endeared him to Yankee fans. Bonds always was and always will be an ayyyhole.
