Why the New York Yankees "Buying" Players Is Good For Baseball
How many times have you heard that the Yankees buy their players? How many times have you heard how the Yankees buy their championships? You have probably heard a combination of both questions over the past decade.

Is it the Yankees fault they're the most marketable franchise in the history of professional sports? No! The yankees sell more tickets; sell more concessions, merchandise. Many teams the Yankees play only sell out when they are in town. Is that their fault? No! The Management chooses to take the revenue from all of this and use it to better the team. To make #28 all the more realistic. If other teams or their fans don't like that, then use some of the millions the Yankees pay yearly in luxory tax (75,000,000). I believe more and more teams are figuring this out.
