Is cano , granderson, switcher, going to be traded to... I think that even though a-rod was struggling he should have been giving the same respect the others got. Ok to pinch hit but not to play him over chavez .... When you have five more years on his contract ... Not smart . And remember major hip surgery takes about two seasons to fully recover and add to that a hand injury that made him loose most of the season just when he was staring to show some power in his swing.. Not making excuses simply looking at facts....

You don't trade Cano. He's the best younger hitter they have. Build around him. Trade Granderson. He's turned back into the .220 hitter he was when the Yankees got him. He strikes out too much. You can't trade Swisher because he's a free agent after this season. Personally, I'd like them to trade Granderson and let Swisher walk. I'd resign Ichiro to a one-year deal if that's possible. I'd also resign Martin to catch because none of the young guys are ready yet. Next year was supposed to be the year the young pitchers take over to keep payroll down. Aint gonna happen. Pineda and Banuelos had surgery and Betances imploded. They need to bring back Kuroda and Pettitte while letting Phelps and Nova battle for the 5th spot. As for A-Rod? It doesn't really matter. No team (even the Dodgers) will take on that contract when you look at his production the past couple of seasons (regardless of the injuries).

Can't believe everbody is blaming A rod for the way the Yankees played I thought baseball was a team sport nobody could hit the ball just put it down to 4 bad games roll on next year bet you A rod will be better next year when he is fitter

I just read were arod is so fragile that they called the ballpark announcer only to announce his replacement/pinch hitter. How pathetic. How fragile. A rod is a not a pretty boy but a pity boy.
