What do you expect from baseball's version of violent diarrhea. Alex Rodriguez is the biggest jackass in all of MLB. In 2006, he hit a home run on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball vs the Mets and he acted like it was the first time he ever hit a home run and when he crossed home plate then-Mets catcher Paul LoDuca was mad as heck and I was screaming from my sister's living room where I was watching the game for Paul to rip up the Geneva Convention and body slam that prima donna into the middle of next Christmas. A-Bum is a overrated, steroid using, riverboat gambling, sleeps with hookers JERK!!!! I am so glad that the Mets DIDN'T get him after the 2000 season because he's a pox like the cartoon character Schweprock from the Pebbles & Bamm Bamm Show. I rather have David Wright because he's a fine role model who plays the game right and does a lot of charity work while A-Bum is known to play in ILLEGAL high stakes Texas Hold 'Em poker games with his Mafia buddies Johnny Roast Beef and Jimmy Bag Of Donuts!!!!!

More things to get off my chest: If A-Bum was playing in 1986 and he did that against the Mets; Ray Knight, Darryl Strawberry and certainly Kevin Mitchell would stomp a mudhole in his #&* and walk it dry or do what they did to Billy Bats in "Goodfellas" and make it look like an episode of "Calliou" on PBS. I can't wait for May 21st when the New York Mets play the Bronx Satan Worshipers at Citi Field when that overrated bum who looks like the Hamburger Helper mascot in a baseball uniform goes 0 for 4 and makes a couple of errors. A-Bum got lucky last June when Luis Castillo dropped the pop up but his luck will run out this time and just because he "stole" a World Series ring in '09 doesn't make him the Cat's meow.

Maybe some other people could chime in but I've played baseball (high school and college) and watched baseball all my life and I've never heard of such an "unwritten rule" about not stepping on the mound. It probably wouldn't bother me as much if someone like Greg Maddux or Ron Guidry or Tom Seaver said it but it came from, as A-Rod so accurately put it, a guy with a handful of wins. It was a bush league douchebag comment from the pitcher IMHO. If he had such a problem with A-Rod stepping "in his office" he should have kept his mouth shut and plugged him the next time he came to bat. I've never been one to defend A-Rod for some of the things he's done but this time I think he was entitled to say whatever he wanted to about that hack pitcher. It's easy for Mets fans (in hindsight) to say that they are glad they didn't get A-Rod but I guarantee you that back when A-Rod was available that the vast majority of Mets fans wanted him and were PO'ed that they didn't get him.

The Mets GM at the time Steve Phillips wasn't gonna shell out $252 Million dollars for A-Bum (the poor Texas Rangers did that) at the time. As for that pitcher for the A's Dallas Braden; Maybe the A's will trade him to the Mets somehow just in time for May 21st when the Subway Series occurs at Citi Field and he could put A-Bum on his back like Lindsay Lohan at a Raging Kegger at Adams College. Ask Bronson Arroyo about A-Bum and the imfamous slap of the ball out of his glove during the 2004 ALCS when A-Bum with his Hamburger Helper mitts of his. Ike Davis of the Mets has been with the team only a few days yet he treats the game w/ respect unlike that roided up riverboat gambler who should know better. WWE superstar John Cena was right some time ago saying that A-Bum should be jailed for his roid use. Imagine that Prima Donna in Pinstripes at Leavenworth where he would be passed around like a cigarette. I say this at least several times a day: THANK GOD I'M A METS FAN!!!!!
