I am extremely angered by the inability of Gardy to win against the Yanks. The only change Gardy has of winning anything is if they don't play the Yankees in the playoffs.

Of course, because no Yankee fan is a true Yankee fan, right? We're all bandwagoners. I mean, I'm not from NY or anything. Don't be a hater because we own your team. You guys are still good.
Actually, you're right. We are good. We're a better team than the yanks - we just fail to prove it where it needs to be proved. There's a psyche that rears it's ugly head when we play the yanks - can't explain it, other than Gardy's unexplainable cowering. This bleeds into the team psyche and the disease spreads throughout.
They'll get back on the horse of course, but to what end?

Homers you must admit the Twinkies are once again chump losers. They are like little boys that cower to the strength and power of a team of real men. Mauer and Morneau are cump change compared to Texeria, Jeter and A-Rod. The Yankees will sweep the whole series and beat the light weight twinkies every time they play.
Wrong. Mauer & Morneau are better players than those roided up old farts.

Despite many fans rush to crown him ace of the staff, Liriano proved that he is also incapable of stopping the Yankees hitters. Granted, their a talented bunch, but the Twins appear to have no real nswers for them. Additionally, the offense is anemic versus Yankees pitchers. There remains much to be proven for the 2010 Twins team. I think they're still better than 2009, but is it enough?

You are all missing the REAL ISSUE .... Gardenhire is the problem or better yet, the solution .... firing him would surely send a message and a courageous one at that... trust me, you will see a team come to life and never look back if the front office grew some and let him go soon.

We are not the Twinkies and we are not chumps. The Yankees are a great team and they have played well the last two games. Some excellent defensive plays today on some hard hit balls. Yesterday the grand slam was the difference. The TWINS can play with these guys and beat them. Its a 162 game season and we will probably lose a few more games. Chill out and enjoy the beautiful weather. We are the chosen ones, we get to live in Minnesota.

Time for the League to check their urine. The Boys from the Bronx are juiced up.

And the Twins 'fans' start cannibalizing each other. Fascinating.

What's fascinating is that you're too stupid or disenfranchised, or both, to understand good, old fashioned baseball debate. We argue about the Twinks because we care; you sound like you're more interested in snapping at people than you are at critiquing baseball. Go somewhere else if this is too much for you. We're the real fans, not you.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here...I mean, the Twins are obviously not a better team in any way. Anything can happen in a 5 game ALCS, and in that context, the Twins could win for sure. But a better team? On what delusional thinking is this based upon? Nevermind, don't answer that.

Talk about not getting ahead of ourselves - your talking ALCS? And who's delusional? NY is old and injuries will plague them - I hope you don't think their success against the Twins projects to all comers. Ridiculous - yankees won't even win their division.

There's just no arguing with that.
Mauer is only batting .406 (13-for-32) in eight games at the new Yankee Stadium.
Morneau is only batting .542 (13-for-24) in six games at the new Yankee Stadium.
Truly "cump" change.
