The twins blow. They should have won last night and then they go out there and get smoked today.

As a Yankee fan, I'm a little confused by you Twinkie fans? You guys have a solid team, I mean, not as good as us but still solid. I think many fanbases would be stoked with a team like the Twins. Unfortunately, you have to go through the Bronx for glory and that doesn't bode well for the Twins or any other team for that matter...

Maybe ripping off the taxpayers of Hennepin County has brought them 30 years of bad luck.

They didn't beat the Yankees before the stadium bill passed either.

What's your point?

Of course, because no Yankee fan is a true Yankee fan, right? We're all bandwagoners. I mean, I'm not from NY or anything. Don't be a hater because we own your team. You guys are still good.

Homers you must admit the Twinkies are once again chump losers. They are like little boys that cower to the strength and power of a team of real men. Mauer and Morneau are cump change compared to Texeria, Jeter and A-Rod. The Yankees will sweep the whole series and beat the light weight twinkies every time they play.

There's just no arguing with that.

Mauer is only batting .406 (13-for-32) in eight games at the new Yankee Stadium.

Morneau is only batting .542 (13-for-24) in six games at the new Yankee Stadium.

Truly "cump" change.
think about it

It would seem that Mauer and Morneau are both hitting for the Twins. Mauer has driven in three of the Twins five runs and collected four hits. He's batting .500 against Yankee pitching in this series. Morneau has been hitting, too, with one double. Cuddyer and Young have been relatively silent. The righties were supposed to get to Pettite today, but it didn't happen. The Twins have one more chance with Blackburn, but they can't let it get down to a one run ballgame and will need to score a lot of runs to win. Get Kubel in the line-up, especially if Mitre is a right-hander.

Yep, born and raised in NY. Not sure what the Palin reference has to do with anything...especially from someone from a state that elected Michelle Bachmann??? Twice.

Twins are no better than in recent years. They can't beat the Yankees now or ever. Don't waste your time with this bunch, They will be one and done in the playoffs if they get there. Their ineptitude against the Yankees is a disgrace. Everyone in the world including the Twins KNOWS who will win every time they play in Yankee stadium. Gardy cannot take them to the next level. How many years does= he get to show his incompetence??

Kubel is worthless-he cant hit his weight. Thome is at least a threat. This team is the same as last year-disgraceful against the big boys!!

Twinks just aren't ready for the big boys yet, especially away from home.
