This is the definition of negotiating.

I believe the Yanks will go to 8&250 ultimately and Cano will accept.

Is it a bad deal, yes but given the disorder and dysfunction of the organization I believe they will cave.

That having been said I also think they will not exceed the 189mm. and as previously posted have already decided this internally.

If Cano walks then all bets are off because they will be forced to "distract" the fan base with bandages and will no doubt overpay mediocrity.
