I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE some overtures that the DETROIT TIGERS may be interested in the CUBBIES new arrival, MILTON BRADLEY. I'll just echo the sediments offered by WHITE SOX broadcaster STEVE STONE when he said that the CUBS should personally put in an order for a private jet to back up to WRIGLEY FIELD. Hopefully he can help JIMMY LEYLAND in his endeavors for the balance of this season and in the future, but MB can immensely help the CUBS now by carefully removing his #21 jersey and not letting the door hit him in the arse on his way OUT !!!!!!!

Steve stone started the milton to detroit rumor, then kaplan spread it on his blog then stone said he was wrong, then kaplan and stone patted themselves on the back for being so in the know.

Where would I be wrong in thinking we could use Garland?

If he could get in going, he could be a difference maker for us.

By the way, I wonder what kind of performance Contreras will have next outing...or the next 5 outings?

Anybody care to predict?

And same q's about Colon?

No to Garland. Take Davis instead!

at best, bradley nets the cubs two B prospects. and that's only if they pay some of his absurd salary.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Aquarius

You're full of energy and determination right now, especially when it comes to nailing an ambition or making a name for yourself. You'll want to give it your best shot, and you'll get very annoyed if you feel your efforts are being frustrated by others. Watch out for a rather tense atmosphere with someone older or more influential than you, as this could lead to a row.
