Obviously, the Mets are thrilled to have Johan Santana on the mound Mondayagainst the Reds, especially after last October's knee surgery and a brief elbow scare early in spring training .

Don;t you just love how all the media
"experts" are already anointing the Yankees World Series champs.while many are saying the Mets won't even make the playoffs?But that's not a surprise.The season hasn't even started yet.That's why they play 162 games,guys.The Yankees play in baseball's toughest division.The Rays and Red Sox are right there with them.
Has it occured to anyone that it just might be the YANKEES who don't make it????We just don't know right now.
Let's all wait and see what happens before making any predictions.

I find it hard to believe that people expect the Yanks to be better than the Red Sox or Rays. One of those teams is going to finish better.
