Really Dion Sanders was your mentor? And what did he advise you to do, go pour a bucket of water on Torre's head? Ridiculous. You stopped hitting in a season where the Dodgers looked for real. Maybe you ought to STRAP ON your batting gloves and start hitting the ball. And I don't mean those little dunkers out in front of the plate. Keep smiling as you trot down the line. Don't worry about hustling. Trot your way out of town. Belliard came in and took it from you. Period.

Hudson poor play should have been explination enough. What does he want torre to tell him? You stink right now so that's why we arnt playing you? Hudson was probably the worst situational hitter in the MLB this year. How many times did he have a runner on 3rd, less that 2 outs and hits a groundball to a drawn in infield? Or how many times did he fail to execute a SAC bunt? You couldn't affford to have him in there anymore, especially with a slumping Manny.

The Twins could use a good 2nd baseman and they have a surpluss of young arms. Perkins is a good young lefty arm that could be a solid 4th/5th starter and he can work out of the bullpen as well. He had a little bit of a falling out with the team toward the end of last season and I'm sure he could be had. Toss in a couple of other prospects and it could really work out well for the Dodgers.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
