What a tragedy that could have been prevented. What can we do to make bars more accountable and get this interlocking device program in California immediately? Who would I need to contact?

Have faith in the criminal justice system. The applelate process in not for the defendant, but for the attorneys so they can line their pockets with more fees for alleged hours of legal work. Shakespeare was correct on his worth evaluation of lawyers. Put a season on them and see how many days it takes for them to become classified as an endangered species. My guess would be two days. I disagree with your argument that bars shouldn't be placed close together. As someone in my 20s, we often go where bars are close together because we can visit multiple places and just take cabs twice. If bars are separated, it encourages driving to keep travel costs down.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Pisces

You have a one track mind today, dear Pisces, and it's running along very ambitious lines, absolutely determined to achieve something you've been attempting for ages. Can you be so committed that you're prepared to let everything else go by the wayside for the time being? That's great, but don't become obsessive about it.
