One Chance At Love

I woke up early on a Friday morning. Last Friday before fall break. Emilee, Amber, Katie, Kayla, and I were going to work after school. Expect for Kayla she goes after her seminars in college.
Emilee, who has orangish reddish long straight hair with breath taking green eyes, works at Starbucks in a small little town called Brighton. Amber, who has brown long, silky, wavy hair and big carmel eyes, works at the local book store that is right across the street from Starbucks.
Katie, who has brown hair with blonde streaks that is as straight as straight can get, blue eyes that can make you get lost at sea, works at the day care that's next to Starbucks. Kayla, who had the same color hair as Katie but Kayla's hair falls in ringlets down her back with brown eyes, works at the Pet store called 'Paws for Pouches'. Lastly me, my name is Cami, I have blonde wavy hair that falls down to my mid back with blue eyes with a green shadow to them, I work at the day care along with Katie. We are all the bestest of friends. Katie being the youngest at 18. Amber, Emilee, and I are all 19. With Kayla as the oldest at 20. As I snap out of my imagination I look out the window of my room to see the moon still in the dark sky. I grunt as I lay my head back down. I close my eyes and what feels like 2 minutes is really 2 hours. I'm awakened by my radio blasting 'Rain is a good thing' I jolt awake and look at the clock that says 7:23. I jump out of bed and run to my closet and grab my skinny jeans with gems covering the back pockets. I struggle to put them on as I grab a random shirt. I slip it over my head as I run to the bathroom I slip on my braided belt. I quickly open my contact case as I am about to put my first one in my cat jumps on the counter and makes me drop my last pair of contacts down the drain. "This is NOT happening!" I yell at myself. I quickly put my glasses back on. I grab my backpack as I slide my Toms on my feet. I grab my phone and dials Katie's number as I rush out the door.
"Come on, pick up!" I yell at the phone as I run to the bus stop.
"Hello?" Katie says
"Katie! Stall Mr. Bradford I've been late to his class 4 times and I am not getting ISP!" I yell
"Calm down. I got this" she says with a tone that makes me scared.
'Oh Lordie' I think. I hang up the phone. I get on the bus and I sit next to a boy sitting by the window looking out it not even noticing me. "Is this seat taken?" I ask flatly. He shakes his head and I sit down. I notice he has a green beanie the one I've always wanted. I tap him on the shoulder. He turns around and I know him...

Part 3 Chapter 1
Katie's POV:
Harry and I are talking about random things until her gets a call.
"Hello?" "Oh yeah Mate I'll leave now" he says into the phone
"Sorry Love, gotta run to the studio" he says looking upset. I'm upset too. It's fun talking to him. I scribbles something down and hands it to me. It's his number. I smiles and write down mine. I hand it to him as he goes to get Lux. As he's leaving I swear he winked at me!! I slip the paper into my pocket and go back into Cami's room to see little kids fighting over a Barbie doll. Cami is trying to separate them. I laugh and pick up the little boy as she takes the toy away and gives it back to the little girl. I show her my paper. "Aren't you a cool kid" she says as she winks at me. I laugh and go back into my room. All the kids are still asleep. I set my phone on the table and get some of my homework out. As I'm working on English my phone lights up. I look at it and I have a text from an unknown number. I open it
Unknown: Hey Love. xx
Me: And who might this be (:
Unknown: Oh sorry Love it's Harry :) xx
Me: Well Hello :)
Harry: I don't have much time but I was wondering if you wanna go a movie tonight? xx
Me: Sure can I bring my friends?(:
Harry: of course how many?
Me: 4(:
Harry: Perfect I'll bring the boys :) xx
Me: Sounds perfect (: Gotta go! Kids are waking up. Bye (:
Harry: Bye Love see you tonight(; xx
I smile as I put my phone in my back pocket and get out cookies for a quick snack for the kids. I lay down 13 napkins with 6 milk wafers on each napkin. When they all wake up and I hand them their cookies. After we all just play around. It's 4:15 and all but 3 kids are gone. The daycare closes at 4:30 today. Usually it's open until 7 up not today for some reason. By 4:26 everyone is gone. I get my stuff and see Cami is texting on her phone with an empty class room. Probably Garret, of course. I walk over to her and she smiles up at me. She stuffs her phone in her pocket and we head off to Starbucks. When we get there everyone else is there except Emilee is in the back getting ready. When she's done we all walk out. I finally come out. "We are all going out to dinner tonight" I blurt out. They all stare at me. "What?!" Cami asks.
"I'm pretty sure she said we are going to dinner tonight smart one!" Kayla says. Cami rolls her eyes. I know she's mad. She was gonna hang out with Garret tonight. "With who?" Amber asks. I keep walking. "Who?!" Emilee asks getting annoyed. "One Direction" I say under my breath. "What?" Kayla asks. "One Direction" I say raising my voice to a low whisper. "Who?!" Emilee asks mad. "ONE DIRECTION!!" I scream at them. They all look at me. Everyone else is too. I see a couple of girls running. I think they thought I said that One Direction is around here. I don't say anything until we get to Cami's house. We walk inside and her mom is making dinner. "Hi girls. I'm making dinner for y'all" she says sweetly. "No thanks mom! Smart little Katie got us dates to dinner tonight!" She tells as she's running up the stairs to her room. We follow. When we get up there she's texting again. "What's your problem?" Emilee asks. "I'm fine but Garret's gonna be mad!" She says. "It's not like y'all are going out!" Kayla says. "I know" she says back. "We'll let's get ready for dinner then" I say getting excited.

Part 4 Chapter 1
Cami's POV
We all do look beautiful I have to admit. Emilee wearing her sparkling red dress with red high heels. Amber in a white at the top, at the bottom decorated with a flowery patter with a brown belt in the middle, also some cowgirl boots on. Katie has on a black at the top half and purple sparkling bottom half with the same shade of purple heels. Kayla is wearing a blue sundress with little colorful birds in the background on it she also has on a similar pair of boots as Amber. I am wearing a pink dress that flows down in ruffles with pink heels that lace up on the legs. Katie has been texting Harry non-stop. I guess the beanie won't be as good anymore... But Katie says they are picking us up at 8 in a limo. I don't want Garret to think I ditched him though... I hope he understands.

Emilee POV
I'm soo excited for dinner. My dress reminds me much of my dad. His favorite color was always red. "I think we should go down and eat something so we don't look like pigs in front of the boys." Katie said being way to dramatic. We all nodded. We ran down stairs as fast as we could without falling. Well except for Kayla. She's a bit clumsy at times. She falls when she is half way down. We all just laugh at her. Then we help her up. She says she hurt her ankle. But I think she would rather meet the guys more than go to the hospital. We all have some pasta my mother made for us. At 7:45 we deiced to watch our tape of America's Next Top Model. Cami and Katie figure they might as well be the Models and model down the long hallway. At the end they would do crazy poses. I got up and Cami jumped on my back. Then Kayla gets on Katie's back. We line up at the back door and Amber on the other side and we have a chicken fight. 8:02. Cami is pretty strong I have to admit. She's been holding me up while Kayla is getting close to falling. In the corner of my eye I see Zayn. I see Kayla got distracted so I push her off of Katie. She falls onto the couch. I jump off Cami's back and give her a high five. Cami and Amber didn't even notice that the boys were in here. They just kept laughing. I elbowed Cami and Katie elbowed Amber. We stood there. "Well this is awkward" Katie said under her breath. She went over to Harry and gave him a hug. He already had his arm around her. I saw Amber looking at Liam. Liam noticed and went to go talk to her. Then Louis went over to Kayla who was still on the couch silently laughing. They looked cute already! Niall had on his 'Free Hugs' shirt and went over and gave Cami a BIG hug. Then shyly Zayn came near me. We introduced ourselves. "Ok guys its time to get to the restaurant. We don't want to be late" Liam said making sure we were always on time.
We all pilled into the limo. Me next to Zayn. Katie was almost on Harry's lap. Niall and Cami were laughing like it was nobodies business. Louis and Kayla were poking each other and Amber and Liam were talking. But the next thing I see is an arm around my shoulders. I look up and see Zayn sitting there staring down at me. I love his quiff. We talk about our lives. He tells me how cool it is to be in One Direction but he can never get enough privacy. I tell him how my parents are divorced and I live in between my mom and dad. But they are always fighting over me and my two older sister Kayleigh and Audrey. He tightens his arm around me like he's giving me a hug. It's so cute. In about 20 minutes we're all singing 'The wheels on the Limo spin round and round' at the end Harry deiced to hold the note at the end. All of a sudden the limo stopped. We were all pushed forward with Zayn's arm still around me. I looked out the window and it was pouring down rain. I sigh and Zayn is worried about his hair. I smile at him and Liam pulls out 5 umbrellas "I come prepared" Liam says confidently. We all smile and Zayn gets his. Someone opens the door for us and Zayn pops open the umbrella. We get out in pairs. When we get into the restaurant they put their umbrellas by the door. "Reservation for Styles" Harry tells the man. He leads us to a table of 10. Once we all sit down we get water and a menu placed in front of us. I can't help but keep staring at Zayn. He is just so perfect. When the waiter comes to take our order Niall gets two full plates of spaghetti. Harry and Louis gets shrimp, Liam and Amber are going to share the spaghetti, Katie and Kayla get a steak to share. Me and Zayn deiced to get chicken. And as for Cami she got a Caesar salad. When the food gets here everything smells amazing!

Harry's POV
I really like Katie. She's really sweet. I'll ask her out to a movie tonight. I met text Paul and ask him to set up a picnic in the park near the waterfall.
While Katie is eating her shrimp she gets a text message. She reads it and automatically gets up. I grab her arm. "What's wrong love?" I ask her
"I-it's nothing" she says I know something's up. All the girl get up and follow her. Soon it's just a table of us guys. "What's wrong with Katie?" Liam asks me. "I don't know Mate" I answer. "Well she looked sad." Zayn said. I look over and see them walking into the bathroom. "Well everything better I was going to ask her out tonight!" I say.

Katie's POV
While I was eating I felt my phone vibrate. My brother got into an accident. I don't know what happened. The text read:
Mom: Katie your brother just got into a horrible accident. I need you at the hospital in Hawaii TONIGHT!
Me:Mom what the hell happened?!
Mom: I don't know. There is money in the drawer just get that and buy a plane ticket! Your brother needs you.
I get up and go to the bathroom when Harry pulls me back down. I just get up again and leave. The girls follow me. When we get to the bathroom. I sit on the counter. "Katie what's wrong?" Cami asks
"Nicks in the hospital!" I say tears coming out of my eyes. Nick is only 8. I'm like his bestfriend mom and dad always fight and scream at each other so it's really just me and Nick alone. "I have to go to Hawaii tonight to go see him." I say to them. "Why is Nick in Hawaii?" Amber asks. "Because dad went to an interview an Nick went with him" I tell them.
"Well do you want to go home or go finish eating?" Kayla says. "I wanna get to Hawaii" I say getting off the counter leaving the bathroom. I see Harry looking at me. I start walking out of the restaurant. He gets up and follows me. Everyone else went back to their seats. Harry follows me outside. I get the and it's not raining anymore. I'm standing there waiting for a taxi when Harry grabs my hand and spins me around. I look at him with fresh tears in my eyes. He pulls me into a hug and buries his head in my neck. "What's wrong Katie?" He asks. "I have to g-go" I answer "Why?" "Because" "Katie please tell me" "My brother was In an accident. I have to go to Hawaii to see him" "When?" "Tonight" I see his facial expressions fall. "Do you want to come Harry?" I ask him. He smiles again "Yes I would" but I have a concert tomorrow" he says "We'll be back by then" I answer. "okay. I'm taking my boys. We'll just fly our private plane." I hug him tightly.

Chapter 2 part 1
Cami's POV
All 10 of us are on Their private jet. Me and Niall are just friends and I think Katie and Harry are dating now. Emilee and Zayn are always smiling when they are with each other. Amber and Liam are just 'friends' but I know the are more. Louis and Kayla are friends also. I'm sitting down on the plane and Niall comes and sits write next to me. I'm listening to my iPod. He takes it and blocks it from me so I can't see it "Niall Horan! What are you doing?" I ask him smiling. "You'll see Love" he says with a smirk. He hands it back to me and on the lock screen there is a picture of Niall. I unlock it and he's there for my home screen also. I smile and he puts an arm around my shoulders. I lay my head onto her shoulder and close my eyes. It's going be about a 7 hour flight from Tennessee to Hawaii. He wraps his other arm around my waist and moves the arm rest. I snuggle up against him. I open my window and its pitch black outside. I look over to Niall. He's eating a chocolate bar. Figures. I laugh and take it from him "Hey!" Niall complains "Well Hi" he looks at me sarcastically. I take a bite and hand it back to him "Ew Niall germs" I say at him and wink. He smiles and keeps eating. I look at my iPod. It's already 12:32 we should land in about 3 hours. Niall hands me a blanket and wraps it around both of us. I smile into his big blue eyes. I close my eyes and I feel his head on top of mine. Within a few minutes I fall asleep. I wake up and check my iPod. 3:13. Another hour left. I look at Katie and Harry. They're asleep with Katie's head on Harry's lap. Emilee has her head on Zayn's shoulder. Liam has his arms protectively around Amber. Louis and Kayla has their heads together. I look up at Niall and see he woke up a little. He looks down at me and smiles. I smile back at him. The flight attendant comes and brings us some hot chocolate. Niall drinks his fast. When he finishes I barley have had any. He takes out his iPod and puts in an earphone. He offers me one. I take it and put it in my ear. He turns on 'Turn Up Music' by Chris Brown. He just starts to dance in his seat. I laugh at him and do the same. The same women who brought us our hot cocoa came and took away the mugs. Around 4 Tennessee time I feel the plane starting to land. It's 11 here so I change my iPod time and look at everyone starts to wake u once the plane hits the ground. Kayla screamed and Louis calmed her down. She is so afraid heights. Louis convinced her to go. But now she is freaking our again. I look at Niall. He opens up his camera and takes our first picture together. He is so sweet. We stop moving and Kayla is the first one to get off. Louis follows her. Me and Niall walk off last. We have our backpacks. We start walking right after the boys put on their sunglasses and beanies. Katie catches us a taxi. We all pile in like a clown car. I'm surprised we all fit in. We are silent in the car. All either to tired, mostly the boys, or worried about Nick, mostly the girls. We pull up to the hospital and Liam slips the taxi driver some money. We get inside and Katie races up to the front desk "Where is Nick White?" Katie asks the front desk lady. She types stuff into her computer then looks up at us"Room 624. 6th floor" she says flatly "Tanks" Niall says. We race to the elevator. We get in and push the button 6. When the elevator open we race to the room 624. There's a nurse and she tells us only Katie can go in. So she walks in. I go sit down next to Kayla. Louis sits on the other side of her then across from us Emilee next to Zayn. Harry sits next to Zayn. Liam and Amber went outside to get some air. Niall takes a seat next to me. He wraps his arm around my shoulders and I put my head on his shoulder.

Katie's POV:
I walk into the room. I see Nick. I've never seen someone more broken.
I don't even think he's awake. To the right of the bed is my mother and father. Crying. I stay on the side away from them. When I look at them all I feel is hatred. If it wasn't for them fighting all the time Nick wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be here. I get down on my knees and hold his hand. My parents, how could they do this. I stand up and look them straight in the eyes. "How could you do this to us? AGAIN?! You know, you guys fighting all the time doesn't only effect you! It effects Nick and me too! You need to stop thinking about yourselves all the time! Look at you children and LISTEN!" I'm pretty sure everyone out of the room heard us. I saw them all looking at me. "Why are you even here? You don't care about us!" I tell them being quieter. "Hunny, your father and I try our be" "No you don't! If you could stop for one second! EVERYTHING WOULD BE FINE!" I point to the door "Leave me with MY brother." They looked upset, but I didn't care someone had to tell them and I wasn't gonna sugar coat it. Even if they were my parents. They leave. I go on the other side and hold Nick's hand. I see the nurse walk in. "How log until he wakes up?" I ask her. "He should be up in about 10 minutes. We had to stitch his arm back up so we put him on this drug to make him sleep for a little while. Your friends can come in when he wakes up." She tells me. "Thank you" I say. As she leaves I look out the window and she is talking to Harry. It looks like they are flirting. I just bury my head down into Nick. He's my top priority right now. I look up about 3 minutes later and Harry I standing there. I look back down. "What's wrong Love?" He asks me. I look up "You" "What did I do?" He asked startled. "Harry, I'm in here with my little brother who is dying and your out there flirting! That's what's wrong." He looks at me and walks over to me. He cups my face in his hands. "Katie, I don't need anyone but you" I swear I could die right there and then. I smile at him. I look up at Nick. And his eyes flutter open. I get up and hug him "K-Katie?" He asks me. "Yes, Nick. And living with me from now on." He smiles. The nurse comes in. "Mrs. White, your brother can stay here or we can transport him back to the Hospital in Tennessee" she says "How would I get him home?" I ask her "Well you would have to get a quiet plane somewhere he can lay down." She tells me. I look at Harry. He nods. "We are flying back tonight on a private jet." I tell her. "Okay as long as it will be quiet." She informs us. I nod. She leaves as the others are coming in. Kayla, Cami, Emilee and Amber all stand around Nick and comfort him. Around 12 we are all singing random songs that Nick likes. I can tell Nick is gettin tired. I sit on his bed with him and ruffle his hair. "You ready to go home kid?" I ask him with a smile. He nods his head. He tries to stand up but he can't. So Louis comes and picks him right out of his bed. I laugh. "You girls do know I have the biggest biceps right?" Louis says looking confident. He looks over at Kayla and winks at her. She smiles and keeps walking with Louis. I walk with Harry. He grabs my hand and I interlock our finger together. We get into a taxi and it takes us to the airport. When I opens door I guess the fans found out we were here..

Chapter 2 Part 3
Kayla's POV:
I look around and see fans everywhere. "Louis get back in the car!" I yell over the screaming girls. People are trying to pull the boys away but we get Nick and Louis in the car and the boys hurry and let the girls in. Once everyone is in we close the door. "Take us to the back where the planes are!" Harry says to the drive. He drives us to the back and we board the plane. Louis goes to the back of their plane and puts Nick in one of the beds. I sit down waiting for Louis. When he comes an sits next to me I get my feet up on the seat and snuggle up next to him with his arms around me. He leans down and I swear he is going to kiss me. When he gets near my lips with his, he stops. He whispers "Your lips look soft" he say playfully. "There are. But they aren't for you" I say as I wink at him. He puts out his puppy dog lip. "pleeeaaasse?" He pouts. "Oh maybe just a quick one" I smile at him and give him a quick peck on the lips for the first time. He smiles "I knew they would be soft" he says with a wink. I smile and fall asleep on his shoulder.
Amber's POV
Liam is so amazing! He is like a puppy combined with a bull dog. Kinda like he's so sweet but so protective. We are sitting on the floor playing some weird game called Scrabble. I mean I've heard of it but never played it. Liam must play this a lot. He's so good. All I know is you have to make words. "I say the loser has to kiss the loser." He says with a grin. "Well your going to win anyway so why bet?" I wink at him. "Because then I'll get your kiss" I smile and lean over the board and give him a kiss. I lean back and I see he is still kissing the air. I put my finger on his lips. He opens his eyes and looks at me. I yawn and cover my mouth. He gets up and picks me up bridal style. I rest my head on his chest and he sits in the couch and keeps me on his lap. We lay there until we fall asleep. He leans down and gives me a quick kiss. Then I fall to asleep with Liam
Katie's POV:
Harry has been comforting me for a long time. I'll now have to work twice as hard to keep my brother. Poor Nick. No mom or dad. I have my head on Harry's shoulder thinking. "Whatcha thinking about Love?" I look up and see Harry staring at me. "Just Nick. And you" I tell him "What about me?" He asks. "Just that your gonna be leaving Tennessee after your concert tomorrow and I'll be without you" I tell him. He looks depressed. "You won't ever be without me" he says all sweetly. "Awww Harry!" I smile at him and he leans down to give me a kiss. I kiss his lips gently. He is kissing me softly but roughly, in between.

Emilee's POV:
I'm laying down in the middle of the floor with Zayn. He has his arms around my waist and my back is to him. He whispers in my ear "Emilee? Would you like to stay with us?" I'm shocked "Do you mean like on tour and stuff?" I ask him "Everywhere" he says. "How could I say no?" I smiles and turn my head back and kiss him. We stay like that for a while. Then I turn back around and fall asleep curled up next to him.
Cami's POV
Well I've seen everyone kiss expect for me and Niall. He's staring at me. I turn around and look at him. "What?" I ask while smiling. "Nothing your just so beautiful" he tells me sweetly. "Aww Niall. Your so.. Perfect" he leans down and kisses me. And I kiss him back. He wraps his arm around my waist and when he pulls away he stares at me. He's never stared at me like this. "What am I supposed to do when you leave Niall?" I ask him all sad. "What do you mean? Your coming with us. I mean you have to!" He sounded upset when I asked him. "Niall I have a job. And a family" I tell him. "Please?" He asks really sweetly, I could stay with him forever but what about my sister and brothers? "I'll go" I tell him.
He leans down again and kisses me again. But all I can think about is Garret....

Part 1 Chapter 3
(I'm going to do the boys POV for this part)
Niall's POV
When we land back in Tennessee it's about 8 in the morning. Right when we get off the plane Paul is there waiting for us. Louis is carrying Nick into Katie's truck. The girls are all going home to get ready then they are coming to our concert. Louis puts Nick in the back of Katie's car then I give Cami a hug. "You better get there earlier!" I tell her "Why?" She asks "Because if you don't I'll miss you" I tell her. She smiles really big then gives me a quick kiss. I hug her again then she turns around and Katie and Emilee are waiting in the truck. I let go and she walks over there and gets in. I see her stick her head out and smile at me. "C'mon Mate we gotta go!" Liam yells toward me as Amber and Kayla get in their car. We get in our limo.
"We better not be late!" Paul snarls at us. "We won't" I tell him. I look out the window.
Harry's POV
We are about half way to the stadium. "Do you guys think I should ask Katie out tonight?" I ask the boys. "How would you do it?" Niall asks. "Maybe ask her on stage?" I say. They all shake their heads. "Why not?" I say getting offended. "Because then all the girls would be either mad or happy" Zayn tells me.
"And we don't need mad girls at the concert." Louis says. "Well then where?" I ask getting frustrated.
"Just before or after" Louis says. I roll my eyes "Fine" By now we are at the stadium. We get out and ate greeted by a lot of Fans. I walk by signing autographs and taking quick pictures. When we get inside it's about 3. We go on at 8. We go into our dressing rooms and there are 5 big bouncy balls. Louis grabs two and holds them over his junk. "Look guys I have the biggest balls and biceps" Louis laughs. I go over there and kick them. He lets go and I get the green one in the corner and throw it at Liam. He falls against the wall. We all laugh at him
