I guess some things don't change. My 13 year-old dog recently became very sick. I was very worried she would die and desperately wanted to get her to the vet. I called Dundalk and explained the situation and that I would need to give them a check that they could deposit the following Friday. I was told that Dr. Foster was the only one who could authorize that and he wasn't available for several more days. I asked if they were willing to let my dog die (she has been a patient there for several years) rather than accept payment later in the week. I was told by the person who answered the phone that she wasn't authorized to approve that. I could have simply shown up and had the dog evaluated, then told them I couldn't pay until Friday but chose to be more up front and honest with them before taking her. Fortunately, we made it through the weekend. But, it's disappointing to know that their number one priority is money.

I actually used to work there. Do not leave your animals there. He is a money hungry cruel man. I have seen things first hand. I left due to the horror that I have seen. The only one who is actually a good vet is Dr. Mascol. He is a good man.

If your dog was lost wouldn't you feel better knowing someone cared for it in their home rather than leaving it stuck in a kennel??? how do you consider the dog stolen when you got it back

You are missing the point! The lady said she called the vet and the office informed her that they DID NOT have a yorkie (which is kinda hard to mistaken) turned over to them (Think they would remember that incident) Although I don't know how much time has transpired between turning dog over and the time someone did call. Yet they produced the dog when the woman that first turned the lost dog over to them came and requested the dog. Does sound kinda funny.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever been to. I needed to get my puppy's ears taped after being cropped (by another vet out of town). I read online that Dr. Foster is a show handler for the type of breed I have and I thought he would be a good person to tape my dog's ears correctly. Thank goodness this was the only reason I went to this facility. I walked in and was immediately disgusted by the smell and the lack of cleanliness. I took my dog outside 3 times during out 1.5 hr wait I couldn't bear the smell and didn't want to sit down. Finally the Dr. called us in, no conversation, no how are you, nothing. Just took my dog back, taped his ears and told me to come back in 2 weeks. charged me around $40 for that too. NO THANKS! will not be coming back. It was only while I was waiting that I started reading reviews about him and court cases that he's been in regarding the care of animals. I also read about previous comments left by employees. I would NEVER take my animal here, again, thank goodness it was just to get his ears taped. Please find another Vet, appearance and cleanliness should be your first sign that this place is junk.

I know when I was 16 years old and volunteered at Dr. Foster's clinic her would always have me
dispose of the dogs that had been put to sleep in the dumpster out side the rear door. He even once told me to wait till in the evening so there was less chance of someone seeing me.
I can also remember him keeping a dog that was to be put to sleep so he could use it for its blood.
I watch him do surgery on a Dobermans ear being crop and the dog screaming in pain because it was waking up from the meds used to sedate them for surgery. Dr. Foster never flinched and kept on cutting its ears. There was also quite a bit of illegal drug use going on at the practice between
staff members.

My advice "STAY AWAY" from this place service and price is awful and outrageous !!
Our nine year old St Bernard was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put alseep due to suffering and pain he was in. We were quoted at the 1st visit at 10:30 am that the cost would be $160 plus $20 if you wanna to be in the room so total of $180.00 to put him to sleep and the disposal (if you can believe that part yes $20 to go back in the room to say goodbye)
Anyways we brought the dog home for awhile to say goodbye to family and took him back later that day and was told HAD TO PAY MORE now cost was $197.00 plus still $20 more to go back to say goodbye at the end ??!!! Anyways our 28 yr old son when back and paid the $20 extra and said the old owner was in there doing it and was very incompetent with service not giving the right doses to put him to sleep before he was put down sticking the dog multiple times before getting it correct. Then after finally getting him to sleep he asked our son to pick him up and move him ?
Now understand we just paid $217.00 for this service and our son had to help the old vet cause he said he couldn't do it (hello) go get some help we paying for this service and grieving and you want our help we just helped you with over $200 for this lousy service. PLEASE do not go here know they been there for quite awhile but seems they just greedy for $$$$$ only. This was a sad time for our family and 99% people there including vet showed NO COMPASSION they just wanna make sure you had ALL $$ up front and and pay them 1st
IN ADDITION how it go from $160 plus $20 to sit in to $197 plus $20 to sit in within eight hours ??????????
